- NS&I has revealed the winners of the July 2024 Premium Bond draw
- Both £1 million winners have the maximum amount of £50,000
The two new Premium Bond millionaires in July both own the maximum £50,000.
July’s £1m winners hail from Hertfordshire and Cumbria, with the winning bonds purchased in November 2016 and October 2021 respectively.
There were more than 5.9 million prizes worth almost £456.5m this month, according to National Savings and Investments.

In addition to the two £1 million winners, 87 holders took home £100,000 and 157 won £50,000.
Some of the notable winners include a holder from South Yorkshire who scooped £100,000 from just £500 worth of bonds, while someone from Cumbria won £50,000 from £101 worth of bonds, bought in January 1979.
Currently, the prize fund rate for Premium Bonds is 4.4 percent. The odds of any £1 Bonus number winning a prize are 21,000 to 1.
Premium bonds are tax-free, an important tool for many, as the latest HMRC data suggests savers will pay more than £10bn in tax combined this financial year.
More than 22 million people have Premium Bonds.
Last month, both Premium Bonds jackpot winners also claimed the maximum £50,000 saved on much-loved products.
We recently looked at the last 50 Premium Bond draws (not including this latest July draw) and the 100 millionaires created during that period, dating back to May 2020, just as the Premium Bond boom of the NS&I pandemic began.
The average stake of a £1 million winner was £38,779. This compares with the average premium bond holding of £5,250.
And 38 of the 100 new millionaires owned the maximum £50,000 in premium bonds.
