Two people tested positive for coronavirus after being evacuated to Australia from the Diamond Princess cruise ship off the coast of Japan.
Six people were isolated after showing minor symptoms when they arrived at Darwin Airport on Thursday morning.
Both patients who tested positive remain good and are housed in a separate isolation unit in Howard Springs outside of Darwin, said chief medical officer professor Brendan Murphy on Friday.

Public health authorities from their home countries organize medical transfers for patients and their partners.
The 164 people on board will spend two weeks in quarantine at the Howard Springs quarantine center.
Professor Murphy assured that all measures were taken to ensure the protection of other passengers on the flight.
