Two men ‘confess to strangling the model, 24, before filming a hair-raising video that mocks their victims’
Two men are said to have strangled a Brazilian model who disappeared from her home in Los Angeles last month before driving to 1,300 miles to Oklahoma to dump her car.
The suspects, named Thiago Philipe Souza Bragança and Walderson Junior da Silva, allegedly used a power cord to kill Ana Braga, 24, G1 reports.
It is said that Thiago told the police that he and da Silva had many drugs in the murder, but that they defended themselves against Ana, who had a knife.
The two men, arrested Saturday in Brazil, would then have filmed a hair-raising video in which they mock their victims after hiding her body in a comforter.
Surveillance images show that the accused enters Braga’s house with the aspiring model before he leaves with the comforter a few hours later, according to reports.
Researchers from California announced on Saturday that they have found a video that is believed to be from the bloody body of Braga. Authorities said a car registered in her name was found 1,000 miles away in Oklahoma.

The white Honda Accord 2015 registered with Braga was recovered by the authorities on February 12 after being empty and standing for weeks in the parking lot of Remington Park casino and race track in Oklahoma City.
Braga was last heard on January 29, when she spoke on the phone with her mother, Delma Felix, in Brazil, according to KTLA TV.
The California police had said they had surveillance images of the bloody body of a woman lying face down with a belt and an electric cord around her neck.
The woman’s body has yet to be restored, but the victim filmed in the surveillance video is feared as Braga.

California detectives used GPS technology to track Braga’s car to Oklahoma City.
A search warrant revealed that investigators went inside the vehicle and found an ID of a woman named “Ana,” according to KFOR TV.
The investigators from Oklahoma City said the white sedan was “locked up in the southern part” before it was confiscated and taken to an evidence room “in a conditioned storage facility.”
Oklahoma authorities say February 1 security footage shows two individuals dumping the car in the parking lot before they board a “green minibus.”
Braga moved from her native Brazil to Los Angeles a year ago to pursue a career in modeling.
“I want her to find her body and I want her to bring her back to Brazil,” Felix told KTLA TV.

Felix said she would talk to her daughter every day. Suddenly she stopped after their conversation on January 29.
“I want to find my daughter because I want to do her funeral and I can’t do it all.”
The mother said: ‘I feel like a waste, I feel like I’m no one. She was the only one who helped me with everything. “
Timothy O’Brien, a friend of Braga, told KTLA-TV: “I’m just trying to go back and think about who could have done this.”
Braga worked part-time as an Uber driver. She also earned money by working for a food delivery service, according to friends.
Before moving to Orange County and Los Angeles, Braga lived near Boston.
Investigators are now trying to bring together the circumstances that led the authorities to find that Braga’s car was found 1,500 miles from her home in Los Angeles
