Two men convicted of the Russell Street bombing were charged three decades ago for the kidnapping and rape of two women in Melbourne.
Peter Michael Komiazyk, 61, from Kalorama, stood before the Melbourne court on Thursday, more than 38 crimes including kidnapping by violence and aggravated rape.
He is also known as Peter Reed.
The individual attacks took place in South Yarra on November 22 in 1985 and reportedly at the home of bomber Craig Minogue in Nunawading on March 26, 1986 – a day before the bombing.

Minogue, 56, detained in the Barwon Prison over the bombing of the police complex in 1986 that killed 21-year-old politician Angela Taylor, is also believed to have been involved in the attacks, Detective Senior Const Tony Benham.
Both men have been accused of 38 crimes including abduction by violence and aggravated rape over the historic attacks.
Minogue can be seen in court on 14 June.
& # 39; Police claim that Komiazyk has committed himself to Craig Minogue and is currently sending a verdict, & # 39; Det Sen Const told Tony Benham to the court.
Another Russell Street bomber Stan Taylor would also have been involved in dragging a woman off the street before she was raped for hours by several people in 1986, Det Sen Const Benham said.
The first victim was & # 39; blindfolded, bound, gagged and threatened with death & # 39 ;, he added.

On the eve of the Russell Street bombing, a second victim was abducted before allegedly raped in the Minogue home object.
& # 39; (She) was forced into humiliating acts and had her life threatened for at least three times by (three people) … and was then overloaded with them & # 39 ;, said Det Sen Const Benham.

He added that the police had been informed of Komiazyk's DNA competition with his two co-accused in 2017 and that she had been under investigation since then.

Komiazyk was acquitted of any involvement in the 1987 bombing, but was imprisoned for 13 years for attempted murder of two police that he shot at during raids related to the bombing.
Prosecutor Senior Constable Joshua Wood said that Komiazyk & # 39; an unacceptable risk & # 39; was to get bail.
Defense lawyer Steven Pica said that Komiazyk was arrested on Thursday outside his psychologist's office, his car rammed and pushed to the ground.

Komiazyk, who cannot turn his head properly, appeared in court with scrapes over his bloody right cheek and around his eye of the arrest.
Pica said that his client was depressed, was taking a double hip prosthesis, sleeping tablets, anti-inflammatory drugs and blood pressure medication.
Magistrate Barry Schultz said the nature of the crime would not allow him to release bail.
& # 39; … some of the most serious examples of sexual crimes the court had heard. Groups of men who subject women to humiliations that they would never heal. It's the kind of offense that requires a substantial punishment, & he said.
Komiazyk was released on the same day to appear before the same dish.
