Two men were shot, one fatally, at a Bronx deli, police said Monday.
Gunshots were heard at the Zoom Zoom Deli Grill on White Plains Road near Cranford Ave. in Wakefield around 11:45 p.m. Sunday, police said.
Medics brought a 24-year-old man hit in the torso to Jacobi Medical Center but were unable to save him.
A 42-year-old man who was shot in the right leg was brought to Montefiore Hospital by private means and is in stable condition, police said. He did not cooperate with investigators.
Police found three bullet casings inside the deli and eight outside. It was not immediately clear who the intended target was.
The victims are not employees of the deli and were not mugged, police said.
