A 51-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly exposing two Georgia police officers to potentially poisoned documents that left them hospitalized.
Little Gaston Stone was arrested and charged with two counts of aggravated assault on an officer after he reportedly brought in documents with a drug-like substance on February 6.
According to the arrest warrant, the substance left both Smyrna Police Department officers with “extreme fatigue, chest pain, chest tightness, dizziness and difficulty breathing.”
Stone allegedly walked into the department’s headquarters, recorded his visit on a tablet and talked about Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp.

He then went on to give the victims some documents, intended for Police Chief Keith Zgnoc, according to the warrant.
About five minutes later, two officers reported feeling fatigue and shortness of breath and were rushed to the hospital.
‘Officers took possession of two sheets of paper and Mr. Stone quickly exited the building before walking north on Atlanta Rd.
‘Approximately five minutes later, both officers began to experience shortness of breath and extreme fatigue. Both were taken to the hospital, where they remain with persistent symptoms.
“The FBI has taken custody of the letter submitted by Mr. Stone for additional testing,” the order says.
He then went on to give the victims some documents intended for Police Chief Keith Zgnoc (pictured), according to the warrant.
The defendant was already on 12 months’ probation for a separate case when he allegedly endangered the officers’ lives.
Stone was arrested the same day and held without bond at the Cobb Jail until his release today.
But this is not his first encounter with the law.

In October 2023, Stone was released on parole after pleading guilty to terrorist threats and in April 2021 he was charged with threatening to blow up a building.
In 2004, Stone was given credit for serving one year in prison after pleading guilty to assault and aggravated battery, and nine years of probation.
