A second person has been charged after the alleged gang rape of a 14-year-old girl who, according to police, was drugged in a hotel room and threatened with a blowtorch.
Earlier this month, Elham Naaman (24) was taken into custody and charged with luring the girl to a party before holding the teen against her. will take place at a unit in Greenacre in south-west Sydney, as well as several other locations.
The police claimed that the teenager repeatedly sexually and physically assaulted by a group of men in a horrific ordeal that lasted “several hours.”
After further investigation by the Child Abuse and Sex Crime Service NSW, a 39-year-old man has also been charged.

A vehicle he was traveling in was stopped in Sydney’s Ryde about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, where the drug methylamphetamine was reportedly found.
The man was taken to Ryde Police Station where he was charged with taking/holding in company with intent to gain advantage from actual bodily harm, assault causing actual bodily harm, stealing from the person worth less than than $2,000, and three counts of supplying banned drugs,” police said.
“He was refused bail on Wednesday to appear in the local court in Hornsby.”
Meanwhile, the 24-year-old from Berkshire Park in Sydney’s northwest, who has also been charged, appeared in Sutherland’s local court on Tuesday via video link in her prison green, fiddling with her hair and smiling.
Naaman folded her arms and gave the magistrate the name of her new lawyer, Gazi Abbas – smiling broadly when he came on screen.
Naaman is on trial for a series of charges related to the alleged ordeal of the 14-year-old girl in July this year, including kidnapping in company, supplying a banned drug, theft, intimidation and damage to property by fire with intent to injure.

On Tuesday, the young woman appeared in court over a separate incident in which she allegedly set fire to a studio apartment in Hamilton, in the western suburbs of Newcastle, on August 14, causing $30,000 in damage.
Police allege she deliberately started the fire in an attempt to destroy evidence of a stabbing – allegedly wrote a text to an unknown person saying: ‘I set a hotel room on fire to cover your a**e’ .
She tucked her long hair behind her ears, swept it in front of her shoulders, behind her shoulders and back in front of her ears before being told she would appear before the local Newcastle court on October 28.
Naaman is also charged with stealing goods in custody in Riverwood, South Sydney, in February, although the nature of the goods remains unclear. She will appear again in Sutherland’s local court on October 26.
The magistrate made mention of the alleged kidnapping incident during Tuesday’s appearance.
Naaman was arrested in Berkshire Park on October 3 for her involvement in the alleged kidnapping of the teenage girl.

Police claim she met the 14-year-old at a party, where the couple added each other on social media and planned to party together in a hotel room in Parramatta, the Daily Telegraph reported.
But court documents state: the 14-year-old was reportedly being held against her will at the hotel, a unit in Sydney’s Greenacre, and other locations where she was being held. allegedly sexually and physically assaulted by a group of men.
Naaman has not been charged with sexual assault.

Court documents show that the teen was forced to force drugs, including ice cream and GBH, and police also allege that she was injected with heroin.
Naaman was denied bail in Bankstown District Court on October 5 after a magistrate learned of her “violent” criminal past, including motor vehicle theft, habitual assault and destruction of property.
Her then-lawyer Upol Amin said at the time that she would defend the charges.
Naaman was again denied bail by the magistrate in Sutherland’s local court on Tuesday.
The investigation into the kidnapping continues and more arrests are expected.
