Twin shadow wrote, “For the past few months, I’ve been collaborating on a new project Yamaha Revstar And my friend, Andrew Aged from No World, and I’m finally excited to announce the “Yamaha Revstar ‘Meet Your Other Half'” mini-series.

“When we were still planning what the string would sound like, I was thinking a lot about my first experience with the guitar, and what it would have sounded like if two session guitarists were crowded unaware in the void, and that became the focal point of the project.”

The series kicks off with Twin Shadow and Andrew Aged stepping into a white space devoid of anything but their amplifiers and Revstar guitars, engaging in a mixture of thought, creativity, and music.

“I was interested in kind of getting close to playing these guitars with another guitarist I admire, not rehearsing anything and just going into it blindly in a way; its heart is completely spontaneous,” said Twin Shadow. , that two people who had never played together, essentially no identical upbringings in music, could speak a common language.”

The two remaining videos offer a behind-the-scenes look at the musicians’ lives, following Twin Shadow in his cabin and music studio, along his motorcycle route in Big Bear, and exploring Andrew Aged’s home and favorite record store in Los Angeles.
