Twice tour: Aussie K-pop fans furious as Ticketek glitch led to massive wait times

K-pop fans were outraged when Ticketek glitch led to massive wait times and no tickets for Twice’s Australian tour

K-pop fans are furious at ticketek booking agency after an online error prevented them from buying tickets for Korean girl group Twice’s upcoming Australian tour.

Tickets for his concerts in Sydney and Melbourne went on sale on Wednesday, but concertgoers were frustrated when they discovered that Ticketek’s website did not have a button for customers to click to finish their purchase, reports the courier mail.

Angry Twice fans then took to social media in droves to vent their frustration.

‘Is anyone else experiencing problems with Ticketek?’ one asked on Twitter.

“I just got to the part where I could choose my tickets and it wouldn’t let me buy anything even though I could select any part in the arena.”

Another concert attendee said that had successfully “tested” whether it was possible to buy tickets for other shows through Ticketek.

“Tried different pages – they work fine, just not TWICE,” they tweeted. “I went to the actual booking page several times, but there are no buttons to buy!”

The website error appears to have led to long digital queues with customers left empty-handed.

“I’ve queued three times already and still haven’t been able to get into the ticket selection stage,” one angry fan tweeted.

However, another fan said they were able to get a ticket after waiting for an hour using a phone and laptop.

Ticketek has yet to respond to the confusion over the ticket purchase issue.
