Twelve-year-old boy is one of the four children who went on a joyride in a stolen car & # 39; – before the police grabbed them by the neck and arrested them
- The police have charged four teenagers with allegedly stealing a $ 70,000 Lexus IS250
- They pursued the police briefly until they were on the wrong side of the road
- They were arrested a short time later when they bumped into two cars
A group of no less than twelve-year-old copper car thieves would have led the police in a high-speed night chase through three neighborhoods in Sydney before bumping into parked cars.
With their Lexus IS250 stolen, the boys stuck to the wrong side of the road at Bidwell and forced the police to retreat.
Within an hour, they crashed the $ 70,000 car into two other vehicles at Hassall Grove, and the police rushed to the scene, but two of the culprits left on foot.
The thieves were first seen on Luxford Road in Shalvey at 9:30 pm on Tuesday before their joyride turned into a dangerous game of cat and mouse.
Footage of their arrest shows police picking up the teenagers from the ground through the neck skin and pushing them to a patrol car to take them to the Riverstone police station.
Two boys, 12 and 15 years old, were arrested while two others were 14 and 17 years old before being found in a nearby garden and arrested.
Three of them were charged with bail violation and two with carrying and carrying while the 15-year-old was released without charge.
The trio was refused on bail to appear on Parramatta Children & # 39; s Court on Wednesday.
