Ukrainian TV presenter, 28, suffers horrific facial injuries after being brutally beaten by stranger trying to rape her for her six-year-old son on a train

A TV presenter was left almost unrecognizable after being brutally beaten by a stranger on a train while attempting to rape her for her six-year-old son in Ukraine.
Anastasia Lugova was brutally attacked by 45-year-old Vitaliy Rudzko when he stormed her sleeping cabin on her journey from Mariupol to the capital Kiev on Friday.
The 28-year-old and her son Zakhar were asleep when Rudzko, who only wore his underwear, broke in at around 3am and grabbed her by the neck.

The woman and her six-year-old son Zakhar, pictured, slept in their compartment when Rudzko, dressed only in his underwear, broke in at around 3 a.m.
Anastasia told local media, “I woke up after he grabbed my neck and punched me in the face.
“I started screaming and shouting for help, but no one came.”
He then said, “Be a good girl or it will get worse,” and began to undress me.
According to Anastasia, the sound woke her son, who saw the horrifying episode and cried.
When Rudzko turned to the boy with a clear intention to hit him, the mother did everything to protect her child.
She said, “I started begging the criminal not to hurt my son and promised to do anything he wanted.
“I asked him to go elsewhere to take him away from my son.
“He agreed and ordered me to his compartment.”
After they entered Rudzko’s compartment and he started to take off his underwear, the victim pushed him and hurried back to her son.
The train crew gave Rudzko to the police after the train arrived in Kiev. He can face up to eight years in prison if found guilty of a battery and attempted rape
She said, “I picked up Zakhar and we ran to the conductor, who hid us in her compartment.”
The criminal continued to search for the carriage for Mrs. Lugova and covered herself with a sheet.
The train crew took Rudzko with them and handed it to the police after the train arrived in Kiev.

She was hospitalized with serious bruises on her face and all over her head and told her story on social media urging people not to be indifferent to those who call for help
Her son Zakhar is constantly crying and receiving guidance after the horrifying experience. He says, “Mom, forgive me for not protecting you”
Police started a battery criminal case and attempted to rape the man who had been detained.
He can be sentenced to eight years in prison if found guilty and an investigation is underway.
Anastasia Lugova was hospitalized with severe bruising on her face and all over her head.
The host told her story on her social media, urging people not to be indifferent to those who call for help.
