Controversial television commentator Jason Whitlock has attacked NBC after they opted not to show Brittany Mahomes on screen in the wake of her support for Donald Trump.

The wife of Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick made headlines last week after appearing to endorse Trump by liking several social media posts, then sitting away from Taylor Swift for the team’s NFL opener Thursday night.

While cameras captured Swift’s every move as she cheered on boyfriend Travis Kelce, there was no airtime for Mahomes, despite being front and center on the broadcasts last season.

Many fans took to social media to question the reasons behind NBC’s decision not to show it, including Whitlock.

On his YouTube show Friday, he said: “I find it really interesting, I feel like no one is talking about this. I tweeted midway through the third quarter: ‘I can’t believe they’re not going to show it at some point.'”

‘I’m sure (Mike) Tirico and Cris Collinsworth wanted nothing to do with having to comment on why she’s been in the news cycle.

‘She was made into history last year, it’s interesting that now she’s my favorite NFL wife, she’s on Team MAGA, I want to know more about her than Taylor Swift, but I have nothing.’

Alongside the video, she posted the caption: ‘Now that she’s on the MAGA side, NBC is too afraid to show her.’

Brittany and Taylor’s decision to sit in different VIP suites for the Chiefs’ win over the Baltimore Ravens sparked a stir Thursday night as fans wondered if the “besties” from last season were no longer getting along.

DailyMail.com understands the pair are still close and partied together after the game at local cocktail bar Prime Social, after Kelce rented out the entire establishment for his friends and family.

Swift is once again expected to be a regular at Chiefs games this season, as she travels across the country to support her man, while also completing the final dates of her sold-out Eras Tour world tour.

The pop superstar has no scheduling conflicts until Week 7 of the regular season, meaning he could be in the stands for Chiefs games as late as Oct. 20.

The reigning Super Bowl champions will then host the Cincinnati Bengals at Arrowhead, before a road game in Atlanta against the Falcons.

From there, they will head to Los Angeles, before hosting the Saints in early October.
