A second video showed the pilot exiting the helicopter and holding on to a ladder attached to the antenna.

The Medellín Fire Department used several cranes to remove the helicopter from the scene early Tuesday morning.

Customers are charged about $887 for a 12- to 15-minute flight from Olaya Herrera Airport to the restaurant, where they are greeted with a cocktail.

All helicopter flights have been suspended while authorities investigate the cause of the accident.

Luisa Osorio and her boyfriend Francisco Salas told Noticias Caracol that they joined the flight to record content for social networks to promote their career as a singer and their YouTube channel and they thought they were not going to make it out alive.

‘We have it. Literally when he was lifting he couldn’t do it at all,’ Osorio said. “He started spinning, spinning really fast and we said, ‘We’re going to die here.'”
