“It is because of my love for our country and specifically the leadership that President Trump has brought to transform the Republican Party that I am proud to stand here with you today and announce that I am joining the Republican Party.”

In 2022, he announced that he would leave the Democratic Party to become an Independent.

He ran for president as a Democrat in 2020 and ended up endorsing Joe Biden when he dropped out of the race.

The former congresswoman called Kamala Harris “anti-freedom” and “censorship” and criticized her recent foreign policy actions.

“Without even pretending to care about peace, as President Trump said, she has shamelessly embraced the endorsement of warmongers like Dick Cheney and Liz Cheney,” he added.
