Tucker Carlson posted a cryptic video to Twitter claiming he was silenced by Fox News, ending with a stinging, “See you soon.”
The 53-year-old was told Monday morning that he was fired from Fox News, where he was their most-watched news anchor.
He got no reason.
“Good evening, this is Tucker Carlson,” he declared in his clip.
“One of the first things you realize when you step outside the noise for a few days is how many really nice people there are in this country – nice and decent people, people who really care about what’s true. And a bunch of hilarious people too, lots of them. It must be the majority of the population, even now. So that’s heartwarming.
“The other thing you realize is how incredibly stupid most of the debates you see on television are.”
Carlson became a household name through Tucker Carlson Tonight, which became Fox News’ flagship show. In 2022, it averaged about 3.3 million viewers per show
