Trump’s mystery injury as he tees off at LIV Golf tournament, says he feels ‘great’ about 2024

Date:

Former President Donald Trump showed off his swing at his Virginia golf course on Thursday while hosting the Saudi-backed LIV tournament, hours after he ridiculed new presidential candidate Ron DeSantis over his packed campaign launch seed.

Trump hit balls on his run in the Washington, D.C. area and spoke briefly to sportswriters about his performance in the polls.

When asked how he felt about the 2024 election during a pivotal week, Trump replied: ‘I think so.’

He cited an unknown poll that he said had him ahead of Florida Governor Ron DeSantis 71 to 16, as well as a public Fox News poll that put him ahead 53 to 20. he said on a sunny, cool morning on his course on the Potomac River.

However, a close-up image of the golf course appears to show bruises on Trump’s right hand.

Trump had plenty to smile about Thursday, hours after the disastrous launch of DeSantis’ online campaign with a glitch-ridden conversation on Twitter Spaces with company chief Elon Musk. Trump ripped into his rival Wednesday night on his own Truth Social platform.

‘Wow! The launch of DeSanctus TWITTER is a DISASTER! His whole campaign will be a disaster. SHOW!’ Trump wrote on his Truth Social platform,” he wrote.

And he poked fun at himself as the mishap unfolded, writing, “Rob, ‘My Red Button is bigger, better, stronger and works (TRUTH!), not yours! (from my conversation with Kim Jung Un from North Korea, soon to be my friend!).’

Trump, 76, also posted an attack-filled video that clearly used an AI-generated voice to mock the governor of Florida. The posting had participants in a fake Spaces Twitter chat involving DeSantis, the Devil, Hitler and Dick Cheney.

Trump has drawn controversy for hosting the tournament, which is backed by a Saudi public investment fund, at his other courses in Miami and Bedminster, New Jersey earlier this year.

9/11 United Families National President Terry Strada wrote to Trump requesting a meeting this week to discuss the concerns, the Palm Beach Post reported.

“The Saudis are willing to spend billions (in LIV) to ‘disparage’ his horrible reputation and human rights record,” Strada wrote. “According to Federal Court documents filed earlier this year, Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund generated virtually no revenue from its sponsorship of the LIV Golf League, despite spending more than $784 million. to finance its only first season. This, of course, includes paying an unknown, but likely large, sum of money to the Trump Organization to hold its events,” according to the letter.

The course is about 30 miles upriver from the Pentagon, where 9/11 hijackers crashed American Airlines Flight 77 into the building, killing 64 people on board and 125 people at the Pentagon.

Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were Saudis, and intelligence records showed that a dozen Saudi officials provided financial or other support to the hijackers.

Saudi Arabia denies any complicity.

American intelligence in 2021 assessed that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman “approved” of the operation to capture or kill US columnist Jamal Khashoggi in Turkey.

Earlier this month, the New York Times reported that Special Counsel Jack Smith, who is investigating the removal of documents from the White House at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago, subpoenaed documents relating to Trump’s dealings with golf LIV.
