But it turned out that the Twitter mob that came after Donald Trump’s middle son was comically wrong.

Eric Trump shared video of a crowd lining the streets of Manhattan on Tuesday that he said was supporting his father after his trial.

“It is a video of a crowd that gathered for President Biden in April, when he visited Howard Stern in New York,” the note said.

Not everyone believed him, but more people began posting footage from different angles proving that Martin’s video was from a Trump crowd from Tuesday.

C-SPAN video from behind the crowd showed people wearing identical clothing and accessories, including one wearing a red Trump MAGA hat.

The same people as in the Martin and C-SPAN video were present, along with a green crane in the background of both videos.

When they were proven wrong, the community notes disappeared and Sington, among others, deleted his mocking tweets.
