President-elect Donald Trump’s popularity as a viral social media sensation continued to grow over the weekend as yet another top athlete recreated his famous “Trump dance” moves.

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) fighter Jon Jones celebrated his victory on Saturday, imitating Trump’s now-iconic YMCA post-rally shuffle as the president-elect watched in the crowd.

Several other NFL stars celebrated touchdowns and big game moments this weekend with the signature dance move that has been gaining popularity since Trump’s election victory.

But the sudden “Trump dance” craze came as no surprise to “TikTok Jack,” the GenZ figure behind the billionaire president’s successful TikTok account.

“TikTok Jack,” as Trump proudly called him during his campaign, is actually Jack Advent, 22, who helped introduce Trump to the platform he once tried to ban in the United States.

“What has now become the iconic ‘Trump Dance’ is yet another example of President Trump’s natural ability to create viral moments that captivate audiences simply by being himself,” he said in an exclusive interview with DailyMail.com .

Trump dubbed Advent “TikTok Jack,” a recurring character in the Trump orbit, following the former and future president’s wildly popular debut on the platform.

During interviews, campaign events and even rallies, Trump credited Advent for his success on the platform.

“That’s TikTok Jack, he’s actually become very famous,” Trump told reporters gathered around the former president as he addressed them from a drive-thru window at a McDonalds while working shifts at the fast-food restaurant.

“We have TikTok Jack working for us, right?” Trump told DailyMail.com in an interview in September. “And we have the largest numbers in TikTok history.”

When called upon, Advent reports the latest number of views of Trump’s TikTok content, which was already in the billions.

The ambitious Advent started his company focused on video publishing and outreach while still in high school. It didn’t take long for him to be launched into the highly competitive world of online influencers.

One of his biggest clients was Logan Paul, an early social media adopter with more than 23 million subscribers on YouTube and an additional 18.5 million followers on TikTok.

Advent was already an expert on online influencer culture before he turned to politics.

His first political client was Vivek Ramaswamy, an energetic young entrepreneur who ran for the Republican presidential elections as a young America First candidate with a message similar to Donald Trump.

Ramaswamy famously described TikTok as digital fentanyl, before admitting it was a useful platform for reaching young people.

Team Trump also had a conversion over TikTok, as they realized the platform was important for reach in 2024, as Meta’s platforms Facebook and Instagram had effectively censored and demoted political content, making it difficult to go viral.

The Biden campaign has been wringing its hands over whether to build a TikTok profile for the president, especially after signing legislation that could eventually ban the platform in the United States.

But the Trump team saw an opening and went all in, recruiting UFC CEO Dana White to introduce the president to TikTok.

“The president is on TikTok now,” White said unceremoniously, pointing to Trump as they stood backstage at the UFC in June.

“It’s my honor,” Trump responded before the video cut to Trump’s walk-on to the stage for UFC 302 as the crowd cheered in approval.

TikTok responded in kind when its debut generated hundreds of millions of views, marking the biggest political launch in TikTok history.

To date, Trump holds the record for the most viewed political TikTok video of the 2024 election cycle with 178.6 million views.

Trump was impressed by the numbers and from that day on Advent was synonymous with the platform.

“Since that day he has been calling me TikTok Jack,” he told DailyMail.com.

Trump continued with a fake face-off with YouTube influencer and WWE star Logan Paul, which generated 170.3 million views.

The former president then met with Jake Paul, shaking his head at a video of Kamala Harris calling young people “stupid” while describing the vice president as not “the brightest light bulb on the ceiling.”

“We stand behind those young people, they’re smart… we love the young people and we’ll hire them every time,” Trump said, as strategists questioned why the former president spent so much time cashing in on the win . youth voices, who generally sided with the Democrats.

But Trump’s story wasn’t just about confrontations with some of the most viral fighters. Other posts attracted millions of views as Trump promised to lower the cost of groceries and gasoline and restore law and order.

The most anticipated video, however, was the Trump dance.

After all, TikTok started as a platform where users popularized images of them doing their own fun dances.

Fans and curious watchers of the president on TikTok were anticipating the moment when Trump would post his own version of the “Trump dance.”

“Everyone was waiting for the famous dance,” Advent said. “President Trump’s iconic dance embodies a winning spirit that resonates with athletes and youth, especially on a platform powered by dance trends.”

Team Trump teamed up with online influencer Aiden Ross to do the Trump dance to a bass-boosted version of the Star Spangled Banner. The pair celebrated their successful interview which became Ross’ biggest ever livestream.

Advent kept Trump’s platform from becoming oversaturated, publishing just under 60 videos throughout the campaign.

According to campaign sources, the team generated 35 billion views across the various @realDonaldTrump and @TeamTrump TikTok accounts and associated hashtags.

Trump, Advent explained, already had a world-renowned brand tied to financial success and the American dream, which translated to a young audience on TikTok, especially successful influencers on the platform.

The president also remained authentic throughout the campaign, which he said made his job easier. Democratic influencers, he added, struggled to make Vice President Kamala Harris an authentic figure.

Although Advent’s job was to explain TikTok to Trump, he said the president was a mentor to him as he taught him about politics, business and success.

“It was extraordinary working with him, he was always funny and created so many moments that I wish we could capture more of,” he told Dailymail.com.
