Donald Trump is set to reveal 150 letters sent to him by celebrities, including one from Oprah Winfrey writing “too bad we’re not running for office, what a team,” in a new book to be published next month.

The former president will include letters he received from presidents, royals including the late Princess Diana, world leaders, celebrities and business executives in his new book, called “Letters to Trump.”

The book will include letters from former presidents Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Bill Clinton and world leaders including North Korean leader Kim Jong-Un, Russian President Vladimir Putin and former Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro.

The book, which will be published on April 25, will also include letters from Hillary Clinton, Michael Jackson, former Senator Ted Kennedy and the late American golfer Arnold Palmer.

One of the letters, which has been published by Axios, is written by Winfrey after Trump sent her an excerpt from his book ‘The America we Deserve’, which was published in 2000 before he became president. In the book, the former president had written that his “first choice for vice president would be Oprah Winfrey.”

Oprah Winfrey (pictured with Trump in 1988 in Atlantic City) wrote a letter to Trump saying “too bad we’re not running for office, what a team.”

In the handwritten letter, Winfrey writes: ‘Donald, I received the excerpt from the book. I have to tell you that your comments made me cry a little. It is one thing to try to live a life of integrity; another thing is that people like you notice it. Thank you Oprah.

At the end of the letter, the talk show host adds: “Too bad we are not running for office. But what team!’

Trump wrote in his book, which will cost $99 or $399 for a signed edition, that he still thinks Winfrey is “incredible.” But he added that Winfrey doesn’t feel the same way. “Unfortunately, once I announced myself for President, she never spoke to me again,” Trump writes.

The book will be published by Publication of the winning team, which last year published Trump’s photo book ‘Our Journey Together’. That book raked in over $20 million in sales in the first two months alone.

A Winning Team Publishing spokesperson said: “What do presidents, royalty, celebrities and business titans have in common? They all love Donald Trump.

‘Long before he entered politics, Donald Trump lived an extraordinary life. No book highlights his iconic relationships like Letters to Trump, and we’re thrilled to be able to share it with our readers.”

The book will also include letters from Kim Jong-Un, with whom Trump says he keeps in touch.

Trump declared in 2018 that he and Kim “fell in love” after exchanging letters, but three meetings with the North Korean leader failed to persuade him to give up his nuclear bombs and missiles.
