Donald Trump relentlessly roasted the ‘White Dudes for Harris’ group Thursday night at Al Smith’s annual political dinner in New York City.

Taking the microphone at the glamorous Catholic charity event, Trump delivered gossip after joke, repeatedly calling out members of the crowd as well.

But ‘White Dudes for Harris’ – a coalition of white men backing the black Democratic presidential candidate – attracted the former president’s special attention.

“There’s a group called ‘White Dudes for Harris,'” he began. “But I don’t care about them at all, because their wives and their wives’ lovers vote for me.”

The crowd, including the event’s host, comedian Jim Gaffigan, who was sitting just a few seats away from the former president, burst out laughing.

Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, the ranking Democrat in Congress, who was also sitting just one seat behind Trump, did not crack a smile.

The group’s leader, Ross Morales Rocketto, responded in a post on X on Friday.

‘Last night Trump claimed that all white men who vote for Harris are idiots. “I think you’ll be surprised in November when we (and our loving wives) elect Kamala Harris as our next president,” The White Dudes for Harris leader said. aware.

The group was formed to try to counter Harris’ weakness — and Trump’s strength — with white men in the polls.

“We know that, as white guys, we have a strong, positive role to play in America’s shared future,” the group writes on its site. “We are not going to sit back and let the MAGA crowd bully other white people into voting for a hateful and divisive ideology.”

After mocking the group, Trump then took aim at Schumer, who was sitting right next to the podium with Cardinal Timothy Dolan of New York.

“Chuck Schumer is here looking very sad,” Trump said, prompting the Senate majority leader to challenge him by smiling and clenching his fists.

But look on the bright side, Chuck. “Given how woke her party has become, if Kamala loses, she still has a chance to become the first female president,” Trump said, drawing laughter.
