Former President Donald Trump expressed concern on social media Tuesday about Democrats’ cheating in Philadelphia and Detroit, while voters were still going to the polls.

“There is a lot of talk about massive DECEPTIONS in Philadelphia,” Trump wrote on social media. ‘Law enforcement is coming!!!’

The former president did not immediately cite evidence to support his claim, which earned a sharp rebuke from Philadelphia City Commissioner Seth Bluestein, a Republican.

“There is absolutely no truth to this accusation,” he wrote on social media. ‘It is another example of misinformation. Voting in Philadelphia has been safe and secure.”

Bluestein added that he was in “regular contact” with the Republican National Committee and “responded to all reports of irregularities at the polls.”

Philadelphia District Attorney Larry Krasner also immediately responded to Trump’s claim in a statement.

“There is no factual basis within law enforcement to support this preposterous accusation,” he said.

He added that he was monitoring the elections, inviting people to raise any concerns or complaints about the electoral process.

“If Donald J. Trump has any facts to back up his wild accusations, we want them now,” he said. ‘Right now. “We’re not holding our breath.”

Democrats have hailed the turnout in Philadelphia as a big boost for Vice President Kamala Harris, allowing her to erase high rural voting margins for Trump.

“Voter turnout is extremely high,” said Philadelphia Democratic Party Chairman Robert Brady. said journalist David Shuster. “I’ve been an election chairman for 50 years and I’ve been president for 40 years and now it’s the highest we’ve ever seen at this point.”
