Former President Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, speaks at a campaign event on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, in Milwaukee. The audience quickly cheered

Donald Trump took audio issues into his own hands on Friday night and opted to hold the microphone during his hour-long speech, channeling his inner comedian during the event.

After the audience began cheering because they couldn’t hear the former president just minutes into his speech, Trump ripped the microphone off the stand and began improvising.

“The microphone is terrible… I think this microphone sucks.”

Ten minutes later he touched the equipment again: “I’ve never held a microphone up for so long in my damn life.”

Later, when the audio cut out again, he jokingly threatened to beat up team personnel.

‘Do you want to see me hit people backstage? I get so angry I’m up here boiling. I’m working hard with this stupid microphone.

Former President Donald Trump, Republican presidential candidate, speaks at a campaign event on Friday, Nov. 1, 2024, in Milwaukee. The audience quickly cheered “fix the microphone,” to which Trump responded by ripping the microphone off the stand and grabbing it for the remaining hour-long speech where audio problems were consistent.

It was her last rally in Wisconsin, where across town Kamala Harris was holding a rally with rappers Cardi B and GloRilla.

Returning to the Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee for the first time since winning the Republican presidential nomination in July at the Republican National Convention, Trump sought to make his audience happy after cheers broke out for him to fix his microphone.

“Oh, you’re kidding,” Trump said in frustration after the chants broke out again after he thought the problems were resolved.

Holding the microphone for so long, Trump joked that he had “blown off my left arm, my right arm, and my fucking throat was exploding.”

‘What the fuck. The only thing I ask for is a microphone. And I went through two of these today,” he continued, apparently having had audio problems at a previous rally near Detroit.

‘Do you want to see me punch people backstage?’ The Republican joked about the form his revenge could take.

Finally, an assistant came on stage and handed the executive a wireless microphone so he wouldn’t have to move the one still attached to the podium.

“And this microphone is much heavier than the other one,” he immediately commented.

“I can work out,” he continued. “I can build my muscles.”

At one point, he did a pseudo-comedy routine pretending to adjust the microphone stand as he must do at countless campaign events.

Wide-eyed and pushing the microphone stand, he joked with the crowd about how the audio placement is never right.

Days after Trump climbed aboard a garbage truck in a stunt to chastise President Joe Biden for calling MAGA fans “trash,” the arena was ablaze with neon orange and yellow vests cheering in support of the 45th commander in chief.

The NBA stadium, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, was filled with excitement.

So many MAGA supporters showed up that the janitors were forced to open the third level promenade.

Waving signs over their heads and dancing to Trump classics ‘Old Time Rock & Roll’ by Bob Seger and ‘Every Body Wants to Rule the World’ by Tears for Fears, fans were exuberant during Trump’s final stop in Wisconsin.

A rally attendee told DailyMail.com that Friday night’s rally was a “historic” event given that it was the former president’s last in the Badger State.

Trump also hit on his usual themes: He vowed that this Nov. 5 election is the most important in the country’s history, he pledged to counter the border policies of President Joe Biden and Vice President Harris, and to revive the economy by unleashing American energy dominance.

Those problems may be enough to propel the former president back to the Oval Office, as DailyMail.com’s final poll of the race gives Trump a three-point lead over Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.

The poll of 1,000 likely voters, which has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1 percent, shows Trump trending upward, with support at 49 percent to Harris’ 46 percent.

It was the second campaign stop of the day for the 78-year-old candidate who had previously visited Warren, Michigan, a city outside Detroit.

Trump spoke in a reflective tone, recalling the big campaign victories and the obstacles that had been overcome on the way to the current end of the campaign.

From its first appearance riding down its golden escalator at Trump Tower in 2015, to its 2020 COVID-era rallies in airport hangars and other diverse outdoor venues across the United States, the Trump’s campaign is ending for good after his final event Monday night in Grand Rapids. Michigan.

“We’re chilling out,” he told the crowd in Warren on Friday. ‘We’ve been doing it for nine years, right? And now we’re relaxing.’

Earlier in the day, Trump said former Rep. Liz Cheney is “a war hawk, she kills people.”

“She wants to go kill people unnecessarily,” he said. “She is really a disgrace.”

He was doubling down on comments made Thursday during an interview with Tucker Carlson, where Trump sparked outrage after asking how Cheney would feel with “guns pointed in her face.”

She called Cheney a “dumb war hawk” and suggested she would be uncomfortable facing a firing squad during the event in Arizona.

Democratic state Attorney General Kris Mayes said she is investigating his comments as a “death threat” against Cheney.

The campaign has said Trump was criticizing Cheney as a warmonger and not posing a threat.

Harris, meanwhile, spent her day similarly campaigning in Milwaukee; in fact, it was only a dozen miles away.

Both Harris and Trump held rallies in Milwaukee on Friday night as they battled for the battleground state.

The Democrat was joined at her rally by rappers Cardi B and GloRilla along with the Isley Brothers.

Harris spent the day in Wisconsin, making her final speech to voters there. Trump held a rally in Michigan that same day.

Polls show the race for the state’s 10 electoral votes is tied.

Four of the last six presidential elections in Wisconsin were decided by less than one point, or fewer than 23,000 votes. Joe Biden won it in 2020 by less than one point. Trump won it over Hillary Clinton in 2016 by less than one point.

Democrats see Wisconsin – along with Pennsylvania and Michigan – as part of the “blue wall” that will allow them to win the elections.

Harris is wrapping up her campaign in those states, Wisconsin on Friday; Michigan on Sunday and Pennsylvania on Monday.

Good news came for Harris’ camp through a Marist poll that indicates a boost for the Democrat heading into the weekend.

A new poll conducted by Marist shows Kamala Harris with a slight lead in the so-called ‘blue wall’ states just four days before the election.

He found Harris up by three points on Michigan and two points on Wisconsin and Pennsylvania, all his latest stops over the weekend.
