Former President Donald Trump said Saturday that he had spoken with Benjamin Netanyahu and that the Israeli prime minister is not listening to President Joe Biden.

Trump made the comments in front of a partisan crowd during a passage in which he promised to restore the nation to a position of influence and international respect.

His words come at a time when Netanyahu finds himself at a crossroads: unleash fire and fury on Iran and its allies or use the recent assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar to declare victory and reduce tension.

‘Bibi called me today and said, this is incredible. What happened, they said, is pretty incredible. but I wouldn’t listen to Biden, because if I did, they wouldn’t be in this position,” he told thousands of supporters in Latrobe, Pennsylvania, using a nickname for the Israeli leader.

“And I’ll tell you one thing: They’re in a much stronger position now than they were three months ago, that’s for sure.”

Former President Donald Trump told the crowd that he had spoken with Benjamin Netanyahu.

It suggests that Netanyahu intends to go ahead alone.

The Israeli prime minister’s office confirmed that he had spoken to Trump shortly after a Hezbollah drone attack on his home.

“The representatives of Iran who tried to assassinate me and my wife today made a bitter mistake,” Netanyahu said.

It marks a period of intense tensions in the region, with Israeli officials condemning Iran and the Lebanese terrorist group Hezbollah.

The world is awaiting Israel’s long-awaited response to Iran’s attack earlier this month.

Trump will spend Saturday and Sunday in Pennsylvania ahead of Monday’s deadline for voter registration.

He will work at a french fry counter at a McDonald’s near Philadelphia on Sunday before attending a Pittsburgh Steelers game in the evening.

“If we win Pennsylvania, we win everything,” he told several thousand supporters at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport in Latrobe, Pennsylvania.

His speech contained all of his greatest hits: exaggerated crowd size, complaints about a “weaponized” justice system and a promise to tell Vice President Kamala Harris, “You’re fired.”

The main message, however, was to encourage his supporters to get out and vote early, beating the Democrats at their own game.

“Early voting is underway in Pennsylvania. Just go and vote,” he said. “If you haven’t registered to vote, you have two days.”

He told his crowd that their vote will decide “whether we give up America or whether we save America.”

And he promised them a ‘new golden age’.

“One hundred years from now, the 2024 presidential election will be considered America’s greatest victory,” he said. “We’ve been through a lot together and the finish line is finally in sight.”
