Former President Donald Trump

Former President Donald Trump went after the FBI for rummaging through his son Barron’s ‘private rooms’ during the 2022 Mar-a-Lago raid and posited that federal agents wanted a shootout with the former president’s Secret Service.

Trump made the claims in a Thursday night post on Truth Socialexpanding on the baseless and shocking claim he had made on Tuesday: that President Joe Biden was “locked and loaded, ready to take me out.”

The conspiracy theory arose from language included in a document outlining the legal parameters for the FBI’s search for classified materials taken from the White House and kept at Trump’s estate and social club in Florida.

In Trump’s late-night post, he talked about getting Secret Service protection after his historic 2016 victory against the “beautiful” Hillary Clinton.

Surprisingly, however, Crooked Joe BidenThe government’s Injustice Department authorized the use of “deadly force” in their illegal, unconstitutional and un-American attack on Mar-a-Lago, and that would include against our Great Secret Service, who they thought might be “in the line of fire.” Trump said.

“As I told Crooked Joe’s Justice Department, if they needed anything, ‘all they had to do was ask,'” the former president continued. ‘They I didn’t have to ILLEGALLY AND UNCONSTITUTIONALLY raid my home and rummage through my family’s private rooms, including Barron’s.’

He then ended the publication of The Truth using all caps: ‘END THESE THIRD WORLD WITCH HUNTS AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!’

Attorney General Merrick Garland was asked about Trump’s murder allegations Thursday at a news conference on an unrelated matter.

“That allegation is false,” Garland said. “And it is extremely dangerous.”

“The document referenced in the indictment is the Department of Justice’s standard policy limiting the use of force,” the Biden appointee continued. ‘As advised by the FBI, it is part of a standard operations plan for searches and, in fact, was even used in the consensual search of President Biden’s home.’

Trump’s wild claim about the assassination came the same week that Judge Aileen Cannon reconvened lawyers in the former president’s classified documents case since indefinitely postponing the trial.

In court Wednesday, Cannon instructed prosecutor David Harbach, a member of special prosecutor Jack Smith’s team.

At the same time, prosecutors working for special counsel Jack Smith and Trump aide Walt Nauta and their lawyer were back in court in front of Trump-appointed judge Aileen Cannon, discussing the classified documents case.

“I’m going to have to ask you to calm down,” Trump appointee Harback Cannon told according to Politico.

Cannon had asked Harbach whether prosecutors had withheld evidence of an August 2022 meeting with defense attorney Stanley Woodward, who represents Trump aide Walt Nauta, who is accused of obstructing the investigation into classified government documents.

While he also had Nauta as a client, Woodward was running for a judicial appointment, which would be made by Democratic President Joe Biden.

Woodward maintains that during the August 2022 meeting with prosecutor Jay Bratt, Bratt implied that Woodward would not be appointed to the judiciary unless Nauta cooperated in the classified Trump documents case.

Harbach argued in court Wednesday that Woodward’s mention of the meeting was part of a “garbage argument” to try to get the charges against Nauta dismissed.

The prosecutor added that Woodward’s version of the meeting was a “fantasy” that “didn’t happen,” Politico said.

Cannon made no decision this week on whether there was prosecutorial misconduct in Nauta’s case, nor did he make any decision on whether other charges should be dropped due to technical problems.
