Former President Donald Trump is putting his presidential library on hold because he does not want to indicate that his political career is over before a possible run of the White House in 2024.
Bloomberg News reported on Development Monday, naming people who are familiar with the ex-president’s thinking.
“As soon as he says,” I’m going to raise money for my library, “he has even given up pretending to try to run again,” Anthony Clark, who has written about presidential library politics, told Bloomberg.

The Trump spokesman’s request for comment from DailyMail.com went unanswered.
Technically, a Trump library exists as part of the presidential library system with 15 libraries under the National Archives and Records Administration, but in its current form it consists of the The digital archive of the Trump administration
Clark also told Bloomberg he doubted Trump would ever have a proper presidential library, as they are expensive to build and complicated to plan.
President Barack Obama has been absent since 2017, yet his Obama Presidential Center in Chicago won’t begin construction until later this year.
Presidents traditionally start planning their libraries as they prepare to leave the office.
Trump tried to reverse the election results from November to January.
Now at Mar-a-Lago, the ex-president sends out statements, does interviews – usually over the phone – and finds ways to stay in the news cycle while trying to control the Republican Party.
