Trump praises the “incredibly nice” court staff as he officially enters New York’s criminal database

Date:

Former President Donald Trump has been officially entered into New York’s searchable criminal database – as case number IND-71543-23.

The entry shows Trump’s year of birth — 1946 — but contains no information about his arrest, then the name of one of the defense attorneys, Gedaliah Moshe Stern, and Stern’s contact information.

The database also indicates that Trump’s next day in court won’t be until December 4.

On Wednesday, Trump, who is running for president in 2024, issued a statement praising the professionalism of the police and court personnel he encountered during his detention the day before.

“The great patriots on and off the court on Tuesday were incredibly nice, in fact, they couldn’t have been nicer,” Trump said. “The court attendance, police officers, and others were all very professional, and represented New York City well.”

“Thanks to all!” The former president added.

Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts of falsifying business records in connection with the Stormy Daniels hidden money scheme in the run-up to the 2016 presidential election.

He pleaded not guilty in New York Criminal Court on Tuesday afternoon, where the 16-page indictment was unveiled Thursday.

In addition, the Manhattan District Attorney’s Office released a 13-page statement of fact.

It said that between August 2015 to December 2017, Trump “orchestrated a scheme with others to influence the 2016 presidential election by identifying and purchasing negative information about him to prevent it from being released and benefiting the defendant’s electoral prospects.”

The alleged offenses included writing monthly checks to his former attorney Michael Cohen throughout 2017 as part of a ‘retainer agreement’, in which prosecutors said there was no such power of attorney agreement and that those payments were in fact for Cohen to pay the $130,000 awarded to Daniels to keep. She was quiet about her experience with Trump in 2006 before Election Day 2016.

The fact sheet said Trump and Cohen met in the Oval Office, where Cohen obtained a commitment from the then-president to recover the money.

Trump snubbed reporters during an afternoon in a New York courthouse, but then returned to Mar-a-Lago where he blasted those working in what he viewed as a politicized justice system.

As it turns out, nearly everyone who has looked into this case, including RINO and even die-hard Democrats, say there is no crime and that it should never have been brought in, and never has been, everyone. Even people who aren’t big fans have said that, said the former boss.

At Mar-a-Lago, Trump passed a group of figures working in the justice system that he viewed as problematic.

Trump blasted Manhattan Attorney General Alvin Bragg, a Democrat, saying he campaigned “about the fact that he’s going to get President Trump.”

He also went after Judge Juan Manuel Merchan, who is presiding over the New York money case.

“I have a judge who hates Trump, with a wife and family who hates Trump, whose daughter worked for Kamala Harris and now receives money from the Biden-Harris campaign and a lot of it,” Trump said from the stand at his Florida home. And the resort.

He also criticized Fulton County District Attorney Fanny Willis — calling her “Atlanta’s local racist Democratic district attorney.”

Willis, who is black, is overseeing a case in which Trump could be charged over his role in trying to overturn the 2020 election in Georgia.

Trump also called New York Attorney General Letitia James, who is also black, a “racist in reverse” for pursuing fraud cases against his businesses.

The former president also called Special Counsel Jack Smith “crazy.”

Smith, who was appointed by President Joe Biden’s attorney general Merrick Garland, is handling two federal investigations related to Trump — his handling of classified documents after leaving the White House and his role in the Jan. 6 attack.

During his 2020 campaign — and again in his 2024 campaign — Trump declared his support for rank-and-file police officers, but at the same time called local and federal prosecutors and top officials in the Justice Department and the FBI corrupt when they did. We’ve looked at his dealings.
