Donald Trump led the fury Sunday night as President Joe Biden pardoned his son Hunter in a decision that turned politics on its head.

The 82-year-old commander-in-chief flew to Africa after making the announcement weeks before his son was to be sentenced on federal tax and gun crimes.

President-elect Trump suggested he would pardon the January 6 “hostages” in a scorched-earth response in which he called the move a “miscarriage of justice,” while even Democrats called Biden’s decision selfish.

Donald Trump predicted that President Joe Biden would pardon son Hunter when asked if he would do it himself.

The president-elect was on the campaign trail when he was asked about the troubled first son’s legal troubles.

He told Fox News: “I wouldn’t do anything that would be overt in terms of Hunter, it’s a sad situation.

“I bet the father will probably pardon him. We’ll see what happens, but he’s a bad boy, there’s no doubt about that.’

Despite Biden and the White House consistently saying there would be no pardon, the 82-year-old president went ahead with it on Sunday evening.

Many predicted this would happen, especially after he announced he would not run for a second term.

Americans are urging Biden to pardon Trump after he showed mercy to his son Hunter

Some Americans have urged President Joe Biden to pardon newly elected President Donald Trump after the Democrat cleared his son Hunter’s criminal record.

Biden made the shock announcement Sunday evening that he would grant a presidential pardon to his troubled son, calling his prosecution “selective” and “unfair.”

He did so after the White House repeatedly denied plans to pardon his son, who will be pardoned for any crimes he may have committed “from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”

After the shock decision, many social media users asked whether Biden would also pardon Trump.

They have argued that Trump also faces politically motivated cases and should therefore be pardoned in the same way as Hunter.

Trump was convicted of 31 counts of falsifying company records with his hush money payments to Stormy Daniels, but only New York’s governor can pardon him for the state crimes.

Karine Jean-Pierre insisted all those times that Biden would NOT pardon his son

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre had repeatedly emphasized that President Joe Biden would not intervene in legal proceedings involving his son, Hunter Biden, and that her words would come back to haunt her Sunday evening.

As recently as November 8, days after Donald Trump’s election victory, Jean-Pierre categorically ruled out a pardon or clemency for the younger Biden, saying, “We’ve been asked that question several times.” Our answer remains: “no”.’

Social media users were quick to mock Jean-Pierre’s empty words. “Well, we all think this didn’t go well,” one wrote, echoing the sentiments of many Republican supporters.

Hunter Biden was convicted in June of lying on a federal form when he bought a gun in 2018 and swore he was not a drug user.

Just months later, he pleaded guilty to charges related to a scheme to avoid paying at least $1.4 million in taxes.

Prosecutors alleged he lived a lavish life, flouting the tax code and spending his money on things like strippers and luxury hotels — “in short, everything except his taxes.”

Trump suggests he will release January 6 rioters in response to Biden’s Hunter pardon: ‘Release them all’

Donald Trump made it clear on Sunday evening that he plans to use Joe Biden’s pardon of his son Hunter to his own advantage, linking it to his own future controversial pardon of the January 6 defendants.

“Does Joe’s pardon to Hunter include the J-6 hostages, who have been held captive for years now? What an abuse and miscarriage of justice!’ Trump wrote this in his first public comments since Biden announced the pardon on Sunday.

That came not long after Fox News commentator Charlie Hurt made the connection.

“I think he should at least commute the sentences of all of them and pardon everyone who was clearly just following the person in front of them as he wandered around the capital,” he said.

‘Forgive them all. There were those who did more than just that. And I think he should commute their sentences and set them all free! One by one,” he said.

Biden is accused of issuing Hunter’s shock pardon to cover up his alleged corruption at Burisma in 2014

Critics of Joe Biden’s shock pardon to his son Hunter have noted a key detail linking the delay to the younger Biden’s time on the board of Ukrainian gas company Burisma.

The surprise decision to pardon Hunter comes just weeks after the White House denied that the president would take this drastic step in the final months of his lame-duck presidency.

The document grants a full and unconditional pardon for Hunter’s potential crimes committed “from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024.”

This has led many to theorize that there is something lurking beneath the pardon, which is intended to acquit Hunter Biden of charges that came to light in 2018.

“Hunter Biden joined Burisma’s board in 2014,” wrote conservative commentator Liz Wheeler. “By pardoning Hunter for all crimes he ‘may have committed’ between 2014 and 2024, Joe Biden is protecting his family’s criminal cartel. Wow.’

She added that Biden is protecting his son from the potential new head of the FBI: “This pardon is not about the gun charge. The Big Guy is protecting himself from Kash Patel.”

Hunter called his father, Joe, “the big guy” in a 2017 email about a business deal that made millions for the Biden family and their cohorts.

“Truly unbelievable that Joe Biden pardoned Hunter starting in 2014 – the year he was appointed to the board of Burisma,” Greg Price wrote. “You can’t make it up.”
