Former President Donald Trump mocked President Joe Biden for not being able to speak or walk down stairs in an interview Thursday with his former National Economic Council director Larry Kudlow on Fox Business Network.
Kudlow came armed with charts and graphs to explain how Trump’s economic policies were better than Biden’s.
Trump, sitting with Kudlow on Wednesday at his golf resort in Bedminster, New Jersey, came prepared with a slew of insults to hurl at Biden and fresh complaints about dishwasher and shower standards.
At the top of the session, Kudlow asked Trump to respond to his impeachment Monday in Fulton County, Georgia, on charges related to his attempt to overturn the result of the 2020 presidential election in that state. .
“Of course, it’s a witch hunt. This is the sequel to a witch hunt. They want to shut you up,” Trump complained, adding that it was a “disgusting situation.”

The indictment was his fourth this year – and will involve fitting court appearances into a busy campaign schedule.
While Trump must pass the Republican primary – although he is about 40 points ahead nationally from Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis in the Real Clear Politics poll average — on Thursday he focused on his potential general election rival, 80-year-old Biden.
“Larry, you look at him, he can’t put two sentences together, he doesn’t know where he is,” Trump said. “He can’t go up stairs, let alone go down stairs.”
Biden tripped on the stairs of Air Force One several times.
After tripping over a sandbag in June, he began using Air Force One’s shorter staircase more often to board and exit the presidential plane.
In June 2020, Trump mocked him for tiptoeing down a ramp, which he later said was slippery.
In the Fox Business interview, Trump also said he didn’t like Biden taking jabs at “MAGA” Republicans, something the Democrat has been doing since before last year’s midterms.

He does not understand what MAGA means. If you asked him now to define MAGA or say what MAGA is, he couldn’t say “Make American Great Again,” Trump claimed. It always says MAGA, those MAGA people, but if you said “What does MAGA stand for?” he couldn’t tell you.
Trump also implied that it was Biden who was embarrassing the United States on the world stage.
“We have a country that is the laughing stock of the world,” Trump said. “We have a president who cannot represent us properly, he goes to meetings in foreign countries and makes a fool of himself.”
“He’s a jerk,” Trump continued.
“And I can just imagine President Xi, all these leaders that I’ve known so well, Macron, they’re laughing at us,” Trump said, naming the Chinese and French presidents. “And that’s what we have and we’re stuck with that.”
Both Trump and Kudlow have complained about Biden’s green energy initiatives — but Trump took particular offense to the administration trying to make appliances more environmentally friendly.
“If you buy a new house, you have water not coming out,” Trump complained. “Most of the country has lots of water – called rain from the sky and it comes straight from the sky – beautiful rain that you don’t even know what to do with.”
The ex-president said these houses had “restrictors”.
“On the showers and the sinks and on the washing machines…they give you so much water…the dishwashers, they give you so much water,” Trump said, indicating that it was a small amount.
In May, the Department of Energy announced new energy efficiency measures, including for dishwashers, a move Trump called “crazy,” adding that most Americans “don’t want to have that. “.
“They want to wash their hands. You know what you do, wash your hands four times longer?’ he said. ‘You take a shower. Like you have such beautiful hair, gorgeous, and Larry, I don’t want to get out of here, I want to take a shower and wash my hair.
“You have these things where the water is dripping, it can barely reach you, it’s brutal,” he added.
He said Americans wanted “choice” in the products they bought.
And offered that they didn’t want a dishwasher that they would have to run five times for lack of water.
“I mean everything is crazy,” the 2024 hopeful said.
