Former President Donald Trump launched on Tuesday

On Tuesday, former President Donald Trump officially endorsed his supporters who used mail-in voting and voted early in the November election with the launch of an initiative called ‘Swamp the Vote USA.’

“Many Republicans like to vote on Election Day and we must inundate radical Democrats with massive turnout on Tuesday, November 5,” Trump said.

The former president and presumptive Republican nominee filmed a video at Mar-a-Lago where he explained that he still wanted the election to be held only on Election Day with paper ballots and voter ID.

However, current electoral laws are not like that.

“But until then, Republicans must win,” Trump said. “And we must use all appropriate tools available to defeat the Democrats, who are destroying our country.”

Former President Donald Trump launched “Swamp the Vote USA” on Tuesday, urging his supporters to come up with a plan to vote in the November election, including by mail-in ballots or by voting in person and early.

SwampTheVoteUSA.com was launched in conjunction with the Republican National Committee and allows Trump supporters to request a mail-in ballot or commit to voting early in person or on Election Day.

The website, SwampTheVoteUSA.comwhich was launched in conjunction with the Republican National Committee, allows Trump supporters to commit to voting absentee, early or on Election Day.

It even allows them to get a ballot by mail.

“Whether you vote early, absentee, by mail or in person, we will protect the vote,” Trump promised.

The former president continued to promote the so-called ‘big lie’ that Trump was robbed of a second term in 2020 due to widespread Democratic voter fraud, of which there is no evidence.

In the video Trump mentioned ‘we don’t want what happened in 2020 to happen again’.

“Keep your eyes open because these people want to cheat and they do it and, frankly, it’s the only thing they do well,” the former president continued.

“The way to win is to sink them, if we sink them, they can’t cheat, it just doesn’t work,” Trump added.

Before Election Day 2020, Trump complained about the widespread use of mail-in voting, and states passed more permissive election laws regarding absentee voting due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

With that, Trump’s Republican supporters became more cautious about using mail-in ballots, while Democrats pressured their voters to send in their ballots early.

Additionally, some states passed laws that the counting of mail-in ballots could not begin until Election Day.

That resulted in Trump being the early leader in several battleground states, only for President Joe Biden to take the lead as paper ballots took longer to count than in-person votes on Election Day.

In the hours after polls closed across the country, Trump falsely claimed there had been widespread fraud, pointing to mail-in ballots.

“We were preparing to win this election, frankly, we won this election,” he said from the White House after Fox News had already called the crucial state of Arizona for Biden.

“We want all voting to stop,” the then-president continued. “We don’t want them to find ballots at four in the morning and add them to the list.”

But since Trump launched his third bid for the White House in November 2022, several Republicans have pleaded with the former president to embrace mail-in and early voting as Election Day turnout could be affected by a series of factors, including climate.

“But if you can’t make it,” Trump said of Election Day, “you have to make a plan, register and vote any way you can.”

“We need to get your vote,” the former president added, stating that November 5 would become “the most important day in the history of our country.”
