Former President Donald Trump was spotted leaving his Trump Tower apartment for a day on the golf course – but not before attacking ‘crazy thugs’ who he said were working to destroy the country .
Trump posted a Memorial Day morning message on his Truth Social platform, writing in all caps, in a statement that appeared to equate his own political allies with those who made the ‘ultimate sacrifice’ to defend the nation at home and abroad.
In a single sentence, he wished the nation a happy Memorial Day, recognized fallen service members and attacked those he said were working “feverishly” to destroy the nation.
‘GOOD REMEMBRANCE DAY TO ALL, BUT ESPECIALLY TO THOSE WHO GAVE THE ULTIMATE SACRIFICE FOR THE COUNTRY THEY LOVE, AND TO THOSE IN LINE OF A VERY DIFFERENT, BUT EQUALLY DANGEROUS FIRE, STOPPING THREATS FROM TERRORISTS, MISFITS AND WHISMANT TRUGS WHO ARE WORKING FEVERLY FROM WITHIN TO OVERTHROW AND DESTROY OUR GREAT COUNTRY, WHICH HAS NEVER BEEN MORE PERIL THAN IT IS RIGHT NOW,’ Trump wrote.
“WE MUST STOP THE COMMUNISTS, MARXISTS AND FASCIST ‘CORCINS’ AT EVERY TURN AND MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!” added the former president.

The statement came Monday morning, hours before Trump could be seen in his white Make America Great Again cap leaving the building where he maintains a penthouse apartment.
He wore white golf shoes and a white collared shirt labeled Trump.
Trump typically moves from Mar-a-Lago during the hot summer months, where he works on his game at his class in Bedminster, New Jersey.
His statement came on a day when President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris visited Arlington National Cemetery for the annual Memorial Day observance, where Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gen. Mark Milley , spoke of those buried inside the “twisted hull” of the USS Arizona at Pearl Harbor.
Trump didn’t specify which forces he was referring to when writing about those seeking to destroy the country “from within,” though that was because his House Republican allies have focused power from within. investigation into the “militarization” of the government.
It came at a time when Trump faces multiple legal challenges, including a trial on charges related to the Stormy Daniels case in New York, a Jan. 6 investigation, and the suppression of documents led by Special Counsel Jack. Smith, and an investigation in Georgia related to his election reversal effort there.
All the while, Trump maintains a wide lead over his Republican rivals in the polls. He ripped Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in another post Monday morning, days after DeSantis officially entered the race.
Called him ‘Ron DeSanctimonious’, called him ‘Rob’, but also said he was ‘WAY UP ON RON’ and said he didn’t ‘support’ disputing company Disney with DeSantis.
Two years ago, on the first Memorial Day since being replaced as president by Biden, Trump released a statement focusing on the dead.

“The depth of their devotion, the steel of their determination and the purity of their patriotism are unequaled in human history. On distant battlefields, in distant oceans and high in the skies, they faced our enemies and gave their lives for America to prevail. They made the ultimate sacrifice so that our people could live in safety and our Nation could prosper in peace.
