Donald Trump’s lawyer accused the United States of having a “two-tier justice system”, noting that Donald Trump was charged unlike Bill and Hillary Clinton and Hunter Biden.
Alina Habba told Fox News that the indictment against Trump on federal charges related to the mishandling of classified documents was a sign of a “sick world.”
She said it made her “shame” to be a lawyer, called the indictment a “persecution” and said it was a “sad attempt at political interference”.
“There is currently a two-tier justice system,” she told Jesse Watters.
“Hillary Clinton broke a computer and got rid of the emails.
“We had recordings in sock drawers.
“We have Biden and Obama hiding things – Biden still has things in Chinatown, at his house, with a drug-addicted son.
“And nothing happens to these people.

Obama’s office denied taking any classified documents.

Still, Habba said there was a distinct bias against her client, which she blamed on his political prowess.
“When your name is Donald Trump and you’re ahead in the polls, you’re going to be hit hard,” she said.
“You’re going to be charged, until you can’t take it anymore.
“But they picked the wrong guy.”
Habba said Trump’s indictment – the first federal charges ever brought against a former president – was unfair and “shows what a sick world we live in.”
She continued: “I am petrified for the country at the moment and sad for my client – although he is resilient and strong.
“And that shows me once again why we need him in the White House.”
Habba said the “establishment” was terrified of Trump because he was independent.
“Donald Trump doesn’t belong to any lobbyist. He doesn’t belong to any funder – to anyone who would give him money in exchange for access,” she said. “He doesn’t need silver.
“And that’s the scariest thing about the current political climate in America.”
“And because of that, he is the biggest threat to the corrupt political system that we have; to the corrupt Department of Justice that we have.
Habba said they look forward to presenting Trump’s version of events.

She attacked special counsel, Jack Smith, and accused him of being a political hack bent on bringing down Trump.
“All of these indictments, the American people should remember, are a one-sided evidence hearing before a grand jury that is being put together by far-left Democrats,” she said.
“Jack Smith is effectively what you would call a leftist Democratic operative.
“All he does is hate Trump, hate the right.
“He puts these people in a silo and gives them his testimony.”
She concluded: “We now have the opportunity to present our evidence and bring it to fruition.
“If we get an impartial judge, an impartial jury, we will be justified on all fronts.”
