Donald Trump’s lawyer and MAGA favorite Alina Habba got emotional as she took the stage at the Republican National Convention just hours before her boss accepted the Republican presidential nomination.
“Every attack on President Trump only strengthens our movement. The madness of the left is just a sign of desperation,” she said from the stage.
“False accusations and baseless accusations will not deter us because the only crime President Trump has committed is loving America, and in America we are winning,” he said.
The 40-year-old attorney gained national attention after representing Trump in his successful civil fraud case in New York. She has since served as a legal spokesperson and senior adviser to the former president.
Habba told convention attendees they were probably used to hearing her “scream outside the courthouse,” but she wanted to get them behind the law and the headlines.

Habba praised Trump for “supporting her on her journey” and “empowering her” and called him a friend.
“Despite the legal war and politics, President Trump loves the American people and he loves this country,” he said.
He accused the left of “trying to demolish him” but said there was “no bulldozer big enough or strong enough” to remove the legacy he has built.
The crowd at the convention grounds greeted her appearance with rapturous cheers as she walked onto the stage in a white suit and heels.
Habba called Trump a “friend” while speaking at the convention. She serves as a senior adviser to his campaign and has been a legal spokesperson during his multiple legal proceedings, including the New York criminal case where he was found guilty on 34 charges.
Habba argued that “false accusations and baseless allegations will not deter them” as the crowd at the convention applauded.
Habba rose to prominence for representing Trump in his fraud case after New York Attorney General Letitia James sued the former president for inflating property values to obtain better loan terms.
Trump was found liable in the case and ordered to pay a $364 million fine in February.
The former president posted $175 million bail in April, halting collection of $454 million owed while he appeals the decision.

Since then, Habba has been a fixture on Trump’s team, often appearing on his behalf on cable television as his legal spokesperson.
During the former president’s criminal trial in New York, where Trump was found guilty of 34 counts of falsifying business records by a unanimous jury, Habba was often seen with the former president’s team as they made their way to the criminal courthouse in lower Manhattan.
She was also seen sitting in the courtroom with the former president’s adult children, who were present and defended him in countless interviews.
