Former President Donald Trump claimed that President Joe Biden was “taller than a kite” during his State of the Union address in March, and said he would want him to be drug tested before the presidential debates.

“I don’t know what he’s using, but that wasn’t, hey, it was taller than a kite and, by the way, it was the worst steering I’ve ever seen in my life,” Trump said.

The former president spoke about Biden during an interview with radio host Hugh Hewitt on Thursday.

Trump recalled the news of the Secret Service’s discovery of cocaine in the White House last summer.

‘I think what happened, you know, that white stuff they found, which turned out to be cocaine in the White House, I don’t know. “I think something is going on there,” Trump said.

Trump said he thought Biden “was helped in some way” in delivering his State of the Union address, “because most of the time he looks like he’s falling asleep.”

“I watched the State of the Union, I was very excited at the beginning, at the end it was fading quickly, something was happening there,” he said.

Although many Republicans speculated about Biden’s energy source during the State of the Union, there is no evidence that the president consumed any type of substance.

Trump reiterated his call to debate Biden “anywhere, anytime,” but said he would like to see both candidates drug tested before the debate.

“I think debates, at least with him, should be drug tested,” he said.

Since officially winning the Republican nomination for president, Trump has repeatedly challenged Biden to a debate.

Biden has not yet committed to any debates, but said in March that any debate with Trump “depends on his behavior.”

Biden’s communications director, Michael Tyler, told DailyMail.com in March that the presidential debates would be “a conversation we will have at the appropriate time in this cycle.”

Trump mocked Biden with an empty lectern on stage during a political rally in Wisconsin on Tuesday.

‘This is for Joe Biden. I’m trying to get him to debate,” he said as the crowd laughed. ‘Trying to get Crooked Joe to debate. In any moment, in any place.’

The first debate between Biden and Trump during the 2020 presidential campaign was notoriously contentious.

Trump repeatedly interrupted and challenged Biden as Fox News host moderator Chris Wallace struggled to keep the candidates in check.

When Trump pressed Biden to answer a question about whether he would try to pack the Supreme Court, an exasperated Biden finally exploded.

‘Will you shut up, man?’ he said.
