The Trump campaign on Sunday criticized Joe Biden as a “security risk” and demanded that he leave the White House immediately.
He issued a harsh statement criticizing his three-and-a-half years in office after he announced he would not seek re-election in November.
“Joe Biden cannot withdraw from a campaign for president because he is too mentally incompetent and still remain in the White House,” said top Trump campaign officials Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles.
‘Biden is a national security threat with severe cognitive impairment and a clear and present danger to every man, woman and child in our country.
‘The question then for Kamala Harris is simple: Knowing that Joe Biden has withdrawn from the campaign due to his rapidly deteriorating condition, does Harris believe that the American people are safe and secure with Joe Biden in the White House for six more months?’

Biden finally caved to the overwhelming pressure on Sunday afternoon. He had not been seen since Wednesday, when he was diagnosed with COVID-19, but had been under scrutiny for three weeks since his disastrous debate performance against Trump.
The former president used a rally in Grand Rapids, Michigan, on Saturday to criticize Democrats for not knowing who their nominee will be in November.
