Trump calls Biden the “ worst presidential candidate in history ” as the public cheer for women’s justice
President Donald Trump said he did not want to lose to the “ worst presidential candidate ” in history, Democrat Joe Biden, when he made a round of insults against his political enemies in Ohio on Monday night.
Trump watched the crowd and asked if they wanted his next Supreme Court choice to be a man or a woman. “It’s going to be a woman, it’s going to be a woman, and we’re looking forward to it,” the president said, as the crowd shouted that they preferred a female choice.
The crowd was booed when Trump named Ohio Republican Governor Mike DeWine, who was in attendance, as the governor had put in place strict COVID-19 restrictions earlier this year.
President Donald Trump campaigned in Ohio Monday night telling a crowd in Vandalia he didn’t want to lose to the “ worst presidential candidate in history, ” Democrat Joe Biden
Trump went after Joe Biden, photographed earlier Monday in Manitowoc, Wisconsin, and told supporters in Ohio that Biden has ‘no ghost, it’s dead as a rock’
Trump announced Republican Mike DeWine, an Ohio Republican, but the crowd likely chased the governor out due to his strict COVID-19 lockdown restrictions, which have not played well with the president’s crowd
Trump seemed surprised by the booing.
“He’s opening up,” Trump said, understanding that the booing was likely related to the coronavirus. Thanks, Mike. He’s a good man. ‘
The theme of Trump’s speech in Vandalia, Ohio, was “Fighting for the American Worker,” and it was not technically intended to be a gathering.
When he arrived, the president called the meeting a “friendly protest.”
“We protest stupidity,” said the president.
Soon Trump ran into Biden, who he made fun of for not knowing what state he was in.
The president suggested that Biden come to Ohio and say, “It’s great to be in the state of Florida.”
“And he looks around and doesn’t see too many palm trees,” Trump said. “ There’s nothing you can do to save it, ” the president said of making that kind of blunder, claiming that Biden messed up the local language seven times.
Trump also got the public going when he shouted, ‘where’s the son?’ a question about Hunter Biden.
“Do you know where he is, he’s in the basement with his father?” Trump said.
The president alleged that Biden “abused” American workers with his trade policy.
“That’s why it’s time to retire Joe Biden,” Trump said.
At the same time, he suggested that Biden could beat him in next week’s presidential debate, which will be the first of three.
“He’s been doing it for 47 years,” Trump said. “He’s much more experienced,” the president noted.
He then returned to his position that Biden is a terrible candidate.
“I will have lost to the worst presidential candidate in the history of politics,” Trump said.
“Joe has no ghost, he’s dead as a rock,” he said at another point.
The president also lashed out at Biden’s running mate, California Senator Kamala Harris.
“She’s nothing special,” he said.
‘I love Mike, but it’s not Pence-Trump,’ Trump continued, referring to how Biden had slipped and calling it the ‘Harris-Biden’ administration, a blunder Trump called ‘strange’, joking that his number 2 , Vice President Mike Pence said to the president, “You never have to do that.”
And he echoed some of the drama that took place during the Democratic primaries.
Trump called Senator Bernie Sanders “the nicest loser I’ve ever seen.” And he enjoyed how Senator Elizabeth Warren, whom he once again called ‘Pocahontas’, destroyed billionaire Democrat Mike Bloomberg in the debate.
The president also went old school, knocking out his 2016 rival Hillary Clinton.
“Hillary Clinton is the one who gives away classified information,” Trump said.
The crowd responded with a ‘lock her up!’ to sing.
“What about that idiot John Bolton?” Trump also asked, lumping his Republican ex-national security adviser with his Democratic enemies. Trump suggested that Bolton just wanted to go to war.
“If I listened to that idiot, we would be in World War 5 now,” Trump said.
One person the president spoke of well was Russian President Vladimir Putin.
‘I love Putin. He likes me. We can hurry up, ”Trump said. “But I have a hard time with China,” Trump also stated.
He also spoke well of his forthcoming choice of the Supreme Court.
“He will be a brilliant person,” Trump said, reaffirming his commitment to choosing a woman to fill the seat of the late Judge Ruth Bader Ginsburg. “Okay, here’s a question, it will be a woman, is there anybody here – please raise your hand if you have the courage – is there anyone here who insists it will be and should be a man?” Trump asked, laughing.
Seeing no obvious volunteers, Trump looked at the crowd and made them scream for a male choice and a female choice, with a woman’s choice getting more cheer.
“It will be a woman,” Trump said.
