Donald Trump says a federal case should be brought against Kamala Harris after it was revealed that Iran sent his campaign classified material about his rival.
The former president claims Harris “spied” on his campaign because Iranian hackers stole information and gave it to Democrats in an effort to interfere in the 2024 presidential election, according to the FBI.
The president is also demanding the resignation of the vice president in the wake of these accusations.
“WHEN WILL KAMALA AND HER CAMPAIGN APPEAR BEFORE A GRAND JURY ON IRAN, IRAN, IRAN?” Trump asked in a post written in all caps on Truth Social on Thursday.
“MY CAMPAIGN WENT THROUGH HELL WITH THE RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA DECEPTION. THE BIG DIFFERENCE IS THAT THE IRAN/KAMALA CAMPAIGN CORRUPTION CASE IS REAL,” he concluded.
This comes after Iranian hackers offered information they stole from Trump’s campaign to President Joe Biden when he was still the 2024 candidate against the former president.

Microsoft revealed in August that hackers linked to the Iranian government have been trying for months to influence the presidential election.
And on Wednesday, the FBI said cyberattackers sent unsolicited emails containing information stolen from Trump’s campaign to people associated with the Democratic president in an effort to interfere.
House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Mike Turner, R-Ohio, is now questioning why neither the Biden nor Harris campaigns turned over this information or reported it to authorities.
“What did they do with Iran’s spying?” he asked on X. “Did they contact law enforcement?”

In an all-caps post on Truth Social, Trump concluded that the new report proves Harris was spying on his campaign and demanded that his rival resign, but said she would only be replaced by a “communist” candidate.
“WOW, THIS JUST CAME OUT!” Trump wrote on his social media site Wednesday. “FBI CAUGHT IRAN SPYING ON MY CAMPAIGN AND GIVING ALL THE INFORMATION TO KAMALA HARRIS’ CAMPAIGN.”

“WILL KAMALA RESIGN FROM POLITICS IN DISGRACE?” he asked.
New evidence claims Iranians tried to disrupt the presidential election by hacking sensitive Trump information and offering the material to the Biden campaign.
But in late July, Harris took over her boss’s re-election campaign and is now the Democratic nominee for the November presidential election.
A spokesperson for Harriz-Walz’s campaign said they were “not aware of any materials sent directly to the campaign.”

The spokesperson went on to say that they have “cooperated with the relevant law enforcement authorities” since being informed of the foreign operation.
Trump also spoke out about the hacking attempt at his rally in Long Island, New York, on Wednesday.
“Biden is working with Iran and Iran didn’t like it precisely because they were willing to make a deal, except we had an election that was rigged and stolen.”
There is no evidence that any of the recipients of the hacked information responded, the officials said, and instead they prevented it from coming to light in the final months of the close election.
Hackers sent emails in late June and early July to people associated with Biden’s campaign before he dropped out on July 21 and endorsed his vice president to take his place.

The emails “contained an excerpt taken from stolen, non-public materials from former President Trump’s campaign as text in the emails,” according to a statement from the FBI and other federal agencies.
It represents the latest effort by U.S. officials to denounce Iran’s brazen and ongoing work to interfere in the 2024 election, including a hacking and leaking campaign that the FBI and other federal agencies last month linked to Tehran.
Additionally, the FBI uncovered a plot by individuals linked to Iran to assassinate Trump and other U.S. politicians and officials, including President Biden and former 2024 Republican primary candidate Nikki Haley.
The Justice Department has been preparing charges over the latest breach.
