A former White House doctor to Presidents Donald Trump and Barack Obama has raised concerns about Joe Biden’s health and said it was “professional misconduct” to allow him to seek re-election.
Texas Congressman Ronny Jackson claimed he was “not mentally or physically fit” to lead the country and “this is a bad situation for us”.
The now-Republican politician slammed White House officials for allowing Biden, 80, to run for a second term and said those close to him like his wife Jill should stop him.
His comments come after Biden fell on stage during a graduation ceremony at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado on Thursday.
The recent fall marks the fourth time he has fallen in public since taking office in January 2021.

Jackson insisted that Biden’s health was becoming a national security issue and said something had to be done.
“This man is not mentally or physically fit to be our president, and that’s a bad situation for us,” he told Fox News Channel’s Hannity on Friday.
“Part of the job of the President of the United States is to inspire confidence and project power, and he doesn’t. He can’t do that, he’s too old to do that, and I think that’s a shame.
“I think his lack of physical ability and his physical decline are now starting to highlight the cognitive decline that we have been seeing for so long now.
“It’s a package that just doesn’t sell around the world, and it becomes a national security issue for us.” We have to do something.
Jackson added: ‘To think that this man thinks he can be president at the age of 86 when he is 80 right now [and] could be in office for another six years is just malpractice on the part of a part of the White House in the West Wing to allow that to happen, for him to even talk about running for a another mandate.
“Someone needs to be held accountable. People like Jill Biden and the people around her who are supposed to love her and care about her, they should do something about it, and they should stop this because it’s is a pity.
He said he had reached a stage where “our commander-in-chief needed a walker” during the events.
‘Can you imagine? That would be a better picture than what we’re seeing right now – seeing him crawling in a walker,” Jackson added.
“At least he wouldn’t fall flat on his face in front of the whole world… It’s embarrassing for him, and it’s embarrassing for our country.

The 80-year-old commander tripped, hit the ground and had cadets and the Secret Service scrambling to grab his arms as he handed out graduations in Colorado.

Jackson has frequently questioned Biden’s health and circulated a letter among House Republicans in April demanding he take a cognitive test or drop out of the presidential race.
“We call on you to either resign immediately and give up your candidacy for re-election, or submit to a clinically validated cognitive screening assessment and make those results publicly available,” it read.
“When you first announced your candidacy for the 2020 presidential election, questions and concerns were raised about your cognitive abilities.
“These worries have only increased because your mental decline and forgetfulness have become more apparent since you were elected.”
The Texas congressman called for an end to the president’s health “cover-up” in February after his doctor said he was fit and healthy for his duties.
The Biden administration has consistently dismissed concerns about that health, with White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre saying attacks on his fitness for office have failed in the past.
She said, “You know, we’ve heard these kinds of attacks or remarks before. And, you know, if you go back to 2020, they said the president couldn’t do it in 2020 and attacked him there, and he beat them.
“Maybe they are forgetting the victories this president has had over the past two years. But I am happy to remind them at any time.
Biden’s stumble on Thursday comes just weeks after he lost his balance during his visit to Itsukushima Shrine in Hiroshima, Japan.
During this event, there was a railing available on some stairs for the President to descend.
He ignored the railing and stumbled, regaining his balance as he descended. Biden also tripped while boarding Air Force One in March during a trip to Selma, Alabama.

Biden fell down the stairs while boarding Air Force One in 2021 and toppled over his bike near his Delaware beach home last June. He was not injured in any of the incidents.
A pool reporter traveling with the president in Colorado said Biden was “coming back to his seat when he fell.” He appears to have tripped over a black sandbag on the stage.
“When he fell, the black sandbag pointed suggesting that’s what he tripped over,” according to the report.
Biden’s age has already become an issue in the presidential race as he would be 82 when he is sworn in if he wins a second term.
His main rival, 76-year-old former President Donald Trump, has repeatedly questioned Biden’s mental capacity.
“Well, I hope he wasn’t hurt,” Trump said when asked about the Biden incident on Thursday.
