A Tesla Cybertruck has been spotted in Donald Trump’s motorcade as he headed to the SpaceX Starship launch in Texas.
The president-elect attended Elon Musk’s launch on Tuesday, where he was given a special tour of the space base.
Trump was seen tuning in intently with a MAGA hat on his head as the Tesla billionaire explained how his rockets work before watching the largest of his fleet take off on the horizon.
The visit to Brownsville came as Trump continues to fill top roles in his administration.
He was joined by Republican Senators Ted Cruz, Bill Haggerty, Kevin Cramer and Rep. Ronnie Jackson.
Musk has pumped billions into the Starship rocket system to get it into orbit for the first time. This launch was the sixth of its Starship rocket and the largest ever made.
“I’m going to the Great State of Texas to watch the launch of the largest object that will ever be lifted, not just into space, but simply by lifting it off the ground,” Trump posted on social media before heading into town went to South Texas.
“Good luck to Elon Musk and the Great Patriots involved in this incredible project!”

The President-elect was also given a tour of the launch site in his aircraft, Trump Force One, prior to landing to witness the launch.
Trump and his “first friend” Musk have remained seemingly inseparable over the past two weeks as the pair attended the UFC match together and Musk joined Trump for family meals and photos.

A Trump-Vance transition spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, told the newspaper: “Elon Musk and President Trump are great friends and brilliant leaders working together to make America great again.
Elon Musk is a once-in-a-generation businessman and our federal bureaucracy will certainly benefit from his ideas and efficiency.”
Trump had repeatedly mentioned Musk and his space-related achievements on the campaign trail.
“Did you see how that loser landed today?” Trump said in early October. ‘It just needs a new paint job. That’s a lot cheaper than building a new one, right?’
At another meeting in October, he added: “Elon is a great guy, he is one of our geniuses. We must protect our geniuses, and we must care for our geniuses. There aren’t that many.’

He often talked about how impressed he was with how the company developed rockets that could be collected after returning to Earth.
Trump recently appointed Musk, along with entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy, to head his newly created Department of Government Efficiency.
“It’s a bromance,” a member of the Mar-a-Lago resort who saw the two interacting told Politico, “and they’re having a blast.”
