A road is closed in Brisbane after a truck crashed into a railway bridge for the second time in a week.
Police closed Oxley Road in Corinda after the Richers Transport truck crashed into a railway bridge around 9am Monday.
Detours were arranged and motorists were advised to find an alternative route.
A Queensland Rail spokeswoman said there was no impact on the network.
4BC traffic reporter Olympia Kwitowski said both lanes were blocked on Oxley Road between Quarry Road and Clewley Street.
Kwitowski said this was not the first time a truck accident had occurred at the scene.
“It has happened many times and the most recent was last Wednesday night with a Woolworths truck,” he said.
She said most of the accidents appeared to be trucks transporting fruit to Rocklea Markets.
Queensland Ambulance Services reported no injuries.
Firefighters were still on the scene until the truck was removed and Brisbane City Council was contacted for assistance.
