Candice and David Warner appeared to be having a tense conversation while filming a secret project at Indian restaurant Spiced in Barangaroo, Sydney on Thursday.

The couple sat facing each other, surrounded by cameras and production crew capturing the seemingly cold exchange.

Candice, 39, dressed elegantly in a simple yet chic sleeveless black blouse paired with stylish sunglasses, looked focused as she took part in the discussion.

Her long hair was straight and shiny to complete her refined look.

David, 37, looked casual and relaxed in a smart white T-shirt and light-coloured shorts.

Onlookers around them watched with curiosity, wondering if this was all part of the project or a glimpse into some real-life tension between the couple.

Candice told Daily Mail Australia that the couple were not arguing, but had simply had a very long day.

“Dave was filming, but he definitely wasn’t fighting. I guess the photos they took might have looked like that,” he said.

Candice and her husband David are in Sydney after taking a family trip overseas in July.

The couple’s three daughters – Ivy, nine, Indi, seven, and Isla, five – kicked off their school holidays in style by embarking on a luxury getaway.

The family of five were also spotted living in luxury after spending six years building their dream home.

The couple purchased the Maroubra mansion in 2015 for $3.9 million and, after spending more than $4.2 million on renovations, finally moved in in 2022.

The Warner family tore down the existing home to completely rebuild it, and the end results are truly amazing.

The oceanfront property spans an incredible seven stories and features a “bat cave” to house David’s sports memorabilia and a massive bat collection, a private beach and epic cliffside views.

‘(David and Candice) stay in the best hotels in the world and wanted to evoke that same feeling of luxury and sophistication here,’ interior designer Alexandra Kidd told The Australian.
