Triple M Melbourne has announced its new breakfast show line-up for 2025: Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus and Rosie

Triple M Melbourne has announced its new breakfast show lineup for 2025.

Southern Cross Austereo (SCA) has revealed that a panel of four ‘stars’ will co-host the breakfast radio slot next year.

Mick Molloy will front the show alongside Nick Riewoldt, Titus O’Reily and recurring presenter Rosie Walton, with the show called Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus & Rosie.

The new lineup will make its debut on Monday, January 20, when this year’s co-hosts Wil Anderson and Dale ‘Daisy’ Thomas depart.

“I’m excited to be back behind the microphone in my hometown, talking about all things Melbourne, with some of my favorite people every morning,” Molloy said in a statement.

‘There’s a good chance the Tigers will turn up from time to time; What could go wrong?

Riewoldt added: “After two rewarding years in Houston, Texas, with Cath’s family, I am excited to return to Melbourne to join Mick and the Triple M Breakfast team, where it all started for me in radio.

‘Triple M is a vibrant part of the heart of Melbourne, celebrating the spirit of the city, its music and its people. Bringing the sounds and stories of Melbourne to life every day through our listeners is a privilege I don’t take for granted.”

Meanwhile, SCA revealed that an announcement regarding Triple M Sydney Breakfast will be made soon.

The new group of co-hosts are set to shake up Melbourne’s current radio market as ratings for the Kyle & Jackie O show continue to slowly rise.

Kyle Sandilands and Jackie ‘O’ Henderson’s move to Melbourne is still fighting for top spot, unlike its stellar ratings in Sydney.

The radio duo have just 5.2 per cent market share and attract 420,000 listeners each week in the Victorian capital, according to the latest GfK Radio Ratings from October.

Triple M Breakfast with Rosie, Wil and Daisy narrowly edged out the Kyle & Jackie O show in October by 0.2 per cent.

In Melbourne, 3AW continues to dominate at 14.9 per cent overall, while Smoothfm comes in second at 11 per cent, followed by Gold at 10 per cent, while Nova fell a whopping 1.2 per cent to an overall market share of 7.4 percent.

However, Nova’s Jase and Lauren breakfast show is still miles ahead of Kyle and Jackie O in Melbourne with a 9.6 per cent market share.

But Fox FM’s Fifi, Fev and Nick were no match for the Sydney duo in the radio rivalry, coming in as FM breakfast show number one with 10 per cent.

On April 29, Kyle and Jackie O brought their breakfast radio show to Melbourne in a huge multi-million dollar expansion deal.

The move led to the removal of Jason ‘Jase’ Hawkins and Lauren Phillips’ breakfast show, prompting their move to Nova.

The Mick in the Morning with Roo, Titus & Rosie Breakfast show starts on 20 January 2025, 6-9am, Monday to Friday, on 105.1 Triple M Melbourne and LiSTNR.
