Here they come: Trinny Woodall proved on Thursday that the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree when she stepped out with her lookalike daughter in London

Proving herself to develop her own unique sense of style, Lyla opted for a jacket with a striking pattern over loose-fitting white cargo pants and matching sneakers.

Its appearance comes after Trinny discussed her recent hair loss and admitted it was caused by an unfortunate combination of COVID-19 and stress.

The stylist contracted the potentially deadly virus three months ago and revealed that she is now taking supplements and seeking advice from a trichologist to understand the link between hair loss and COVID.

Speaking to her Instagram followers in a candid video this weekend, she said, ‘I thought we would have a little bit of a Sunday night chat and I had a lovely day with Lyla, but I want to talk about hair loss.

‘Cause since I’ve done lives on Facebook, and I’ve done two lives. I did a Hair Transplant Live with Greg Williams and the following week I did a really nice Live with Shabir at Victoria Health and with Josh Wood.

‘And this was before my hair started falling out, so it’s very coincidental, it’s very strange and not like a tempting fate, the opposite of that actually.’

Trinny, wearing a fuchsia shirt and dewy makeup, revealed that her hair started falling out shortly after her discussions with the hair and health experts.

“About a week after doing both lives, I began to notice that when I did …” she said, running her hand through her auburn locks, pulling out a section of hair in the process.

She put the locks in front of the camera and continued, ‘I started getting – I don’t know if you can see here how much hair I get every time I do, but this way.

‘I’m just collecting my hair right now. There will probably be more hair in this than there will soon be on my head.

“I’m sarcastic because I don’t want to be stressed by it, but I do want to have an action plan and I want to talk to you about it and I just thought, what always reassures me is sharing.”

Trinny then revealed the names of several trichologists who had been recommended to her, claiming that her hair loss is the result of coronavirus and stress, not menopause.

Trichology is the study of diseases or problems related to the hair and scalp and was founded in 1902.

According to Sky News, nearly a quarter of Covid patients will experience hair loss within six months of contracting the disease, with women at higher risk.

Long-term symptom study in Wuhan, China found that 359 of 1,655 hospital patients who had the virus suffered from hair loss.
