Tree Hill star actor Chantelle Van Santen’s husband has filed for divorce after just 18 months of marriage

One Tree Hill star Shantel VanSanten’s husband has filed for divorce after only 20 months of marriage and three huge weddings.

Her now estranged husband – fellow actor Victor Webster – has filed to terminate marriage to the 37-year-old actress according to documents he obtained TMZ on monday.

The 50-year-old Canadian actor filed back in January as documents listed their date of separation as the tenth.

The two dramatists do not have any children together and the reason for their separation is unclear as he checked the celebrity favorite ‘Irreconcilable Differences’ box.

Perhaps the most interesting thing about the estranged couple is that they tied the knot in three separate ceremonies in late 2021 which highlighted brides on time.

According to the publication, Victor proposed on top of a mountain in February 2021 when they began planning two weddings before circumstances prompted them to add a third.

Their first ceremony took place in August of that year as they enjoyed an intimate courtroom wedding in remembrance of Chantelle’s grandparents’ date after the death of her grandfather.

“When my grandfather died unexpectedly on Father’s Day,” she explained to the brides, “the grief was unbearable; I was planning on him walking me down the aisle in Minnesota.

In the midst of my grief, I looked at Victor and said I wanted to perform a spontaneous civil ceremony on my grandparents’ wedding date, August 9th. The thought of my grandparents reuniting and watching our ceremony from above gave me some peace.

They have been married for 63 years and had a special and deep love. They were an example to me of how love is a choice and takes action. It wasn’t perfect, but their love was always pure.”

As if that wasn’t enough, the couple was joined by 48 friends and family for a party in Napa, California wine country.

Last but not least, the third rally came in Chantelle’s hometown of Luverne, Minnesota.

The wedding theme was vintage and wilderness-inspired as she explains: ‘We wanted to blend into the nature surrounding Blue Mounds Park.

The duo met on the set of the 2017 TV movie Love Blossoms and were just friends until their relationship took a romantic turn the following year.

Shantel is best known for portraying Quinn James on seasons seven through nine of One Tree Hill from 2009 to 2012.

She has also starred in TV series including Shooter, The Boys, The Flash, and For All Mankind, and movies including The Final Destination, You And I, Remembrance, and most recently, American Murderer.

Victor has nearly 90 credits to his name including the TV series Workin’ Moms and the movies The Scorpion King 4: Quest For Power, Surrogate, and Bringing Down The House.
