A Victorian suburb has been “put on the map” after a nightclub owner hosted US superstar Travis Scott at his club on Wednesday.
Following Travis’ performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium, the Sicko Mode hitmaker headed 38 kilometers outside the CBD for the official Circus Maximus after-party at District 14 nightclub in Narre Warren.
Appearing on FoxFM Fifi Fev and Nick On Friday’s show, District 14 owner Dominic Porter revealed what it took to bring the superstar to his zip code.
Dominic said it took “a lot of time, a lot of money and a lot of persuasion” after presenter Fifi Box asked him how he managed to pull off such a musical coup.
“I have a great business partner named Alex and he managed to reach out to managers and agents,” he said.
“He worked hard and managed to get us there.”
Co-host Brendan Fevola, a Narre Warren native, was more interested in the brass taxes.
‘Dom, I need to know, how much cash?’ asked. “It took a lot to get him to Narre Warren.”

But Dominic remained silent and replied: “We put Narre Warren on the map, but I’m not going to tell you how much cash.”
Not satisfied with the diplomatic response, Fev pressed, adding: “I would have said a few hundred thousand.”
Still unwilling to divulge the actual sum, Dominic said Travis’ appearance at the nightclub was less than the radio host’s estimate.

“He was on stage for 40 minutes, and I can say it was less than a couple hundred thousand,” Dominic said.
“We have buddy rates.”
However, the party caterer let one detail slip: Travis and his entourage are quite the tequila fans.
—What was his rider like? -Fifi asked.
“About 15 bottles of Tequila from 1942, and there were about 60 bottles of Azul,” he said.
“There was a lot of tequila.”
A bottle of Clase Azul Tequila costs around $376, while $270 will get you a bottle of Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila, meaning Travis’ backstage bar bill alone would have amounted to more than $26,000.

The promoter added that even though one of the biggest artists in the world appeared at his nightclub, Dominic had even bigger issues to resolve.
“We’ve got bigger artists coming,” he boasted, leading the panel to dismiss some suggestions, including rapper Kendrick Lamar, who recently announced an Australian tour.
‘Who knows?’ Dominic said with tight lips. “Keep an eye on your social media.”
Travis’ trip to suburban Melbourne came after a wild performance at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on Wednesday night in which a concertgoer suffered a terrifying medical episode after being “fly-kicked” by a security guard.
The American rapper’s Australian tour has been marred by similar violent clashes at shows.
Fans also scuffled with security guards at Travis Scott’s sold-out Melbourne show at Marvel Stadium on Tuesday night.
In footage posted to TikTok, patrons are seen trying to make their way through security and into the mosh pit as Scott performs his Circus Maximus Tour.
In the clip, security guards are seen restraining rowdy members of the public, as die-hard fans fought to gain free access to the mosh pit.
