‘You copied my shit!’ Travis Scott is called out by NBA legend Dennis Rodman for allegedly stealing his backwards Nike Swoosh design
Travis Scott has been criticized by Dennis Rodman for copying the look of his sneaker designs.
At the recent Got Sole sneaker convention in Chicago earlier this week, the 61-year-old former NBA player accused the 30-year-old rapper of plagiarizing his reversed Nike design.
In a clip shared by hiphopdxThe Chicago Bulls legend showed off a couple of Scott’s collaborations with the 2019 Air Jordan 1 and asked him to credit him for their original design.
“Travis Scott has copied my shoe,” he said in the video directed at the father-of-two, who recently filed to legally change his son’s name with his baby mama, Kylie Jenner, 25.
Come on, Travis,” he continued. ‘Give me some credit, you know?’

Called out: At the recent Got Sole sneaker convention in Chicago earlier this week, Dennis Rodman, 61, accused Travis Scott of ripping off his Nike inverted swoosh design while showing off a couple of collaborations from the rapper with Air Jordan 1 from 2019.

No response: The Astroworld hitmaker has yet to respond to Rodman’s claims.
Rodman goes on to claim that Scott copied the backwards swoosh of his signature Nike Air Darwin sneakers from the mid-1990s.
“You copied my shit,” he said in the clip.
“This is not new, brother,” he added. ‘But either way, congratulations.’
The Astroworld hitmaker has yet to respond to Rodman’s claims.
In 2019, the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG shoe was released in mocha and white.
The collaborative shoe featured an upside-down Nike Swoosh, which also appeared on other shoes in the Travis Scott collection.
Many fans praised the ‘innovative’ design, but Rodman finally decided to speak out.
During his time with the San Antonio Spurs in the early ’90s, Rodman modeled the Nike Air Darwin before it was released to the public in 1994.

The cleats did not bear his name, however many considered it to be his signature that he wore during his first two seasons with the Spurs.
Since the clip was released, the record producer has not responded or issued a statement.
Around the same time, Scott was busy legally filing for a name change for his one-year-old son.
Scott and Jenner share two children: five-year-old daughter Stormi and baby Aire.
When their second child was born in February 2022, the former couple had originally named him Wolf.
They decided the name did not fit their newborn, revealing that they had chosen the name Aire in January of this year.
In legal documents published by TMZScott and Jenner stated that they “regret the initial name choice for Wolf Jacques Webster” and that Aire “fits better” with their baby boy.
The statement read: “Now that the petitioners have had the opportunity to spend time with their baby, they feel the name Aire Webster is a better fit.”

Worried: Around the same time, Scott was busy legally filing for a name change for his one-year-old son, whom he shares with his ex-girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, 25.
