Travis Kelce’s father Ed has launched another attack on Kanye West after the rapper mentioned the Chiefs star and his girlfriend Taylor Swift in a new song.

Ed Kelce had said West has “mental illness on full display” on his Facebook page, responding to a DailyMail.Com story about West’s new lyrics from August 8.

“I squeeze my Taylor joints at the end like Travis Kelce,” Wayne raps in his verse on the song, which appears on West’s album, Vultures 2.

Now, Ed has addressed the issue on his Facebook page, saying: ‘I feel the need to clarify that my comment about Kanye West was not so much a criticism as it was my thoughts on his mental health.

“His behavior and comments, beyond Taylor’s, indicate paranoia and an exaggerated sense of self-worth. While it would be easy to attribute his actions to drug use, there has been no shortage of sober, clean-cut people throughout history who have displayed the same traits.

“He’s a talented kid and I hope he gets help with these issues.”

This comes 15 years after West began feuding with Swift when he jumped onstage at the 2009 MTV Video Music Awards and interrupted her acceptance speech for Best Female Video.

At the time, he declared that the honor should have gone to Beyoncé, which started a years-long feud between him and the Love Story singer.

The embattled hip-hop artist later mentioned her name in his 2016 song, Famous. He rapped, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex / I made that bitch famous.”

When the Shake It Off hitmaker objected to the crude lyrics, West doubled down, claiming he had received her permission to do so.

His then-wife Kim Kardashian stepped in by sharing a video of an alleged phone call between the two. However, it was later revealed that it had been edited to support West’s version of events.

Swift appeared to take aim at Kardashian on her latest album, Tortured Poets Department, with the song “thanK you aIMee,” in which she capitalizes the letters that spell “KIM.”

Swift is currently wrapping up dates for her four-month European Eras Tour in London this weekend, while Chiefs star Travis is in Kansas City preparing for the new NFL season.

Kelce could play up to half of the Chiefs’ warm-up game against the Detroit Lions on Saturday, with the season opening Sept. 5 against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium.

The Chiefs enter the new season with the goal of becoming the first team in NFL history to win three consecutive Super Bowl titles.
