Travis Kelce didn’t seem too excited about celebrating his 34th birthday in Kansas City without new girlfriend Taylor Swift, but quickly cheered up when he got a photo request from a young female admirer.
Kelce took time to pose for a photo with the blonde woman outside the Golden Ox in Kansas City, where the two-time Super Bowl winner enjoyed a night out with friends on Thursday – two days before traveling to Minneapolis for Sunday’s game against the Minnesota Vikings.
The identity of the blonde fan on Kelce’s arm is unknown and the Chiefs tight end was apparently just friendly with local fans, several of whom took pictures with him.
It is not known whether Swift will be present at US Bank Stadium on Sunday afternoon. The Chiefs are 2-0 and the pop star has been around since she started dating Kelce last month. Swift was present for the Chiefs’ 41-10 victory over the Bears on September 24, when she celebrated Kelce’s touchdown reception with his mother, Donna. She and Donna once again sat next to each other in a luxury suite during last Sunday’s 23-20 win over the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium.
But when asked on Friday’s Today Show about the opportunity to sit with a world-famous celebrity at her son’s football games, Donna gave the impression she was unimpressed by meeting Swift.

“Yeah, it’s – you know, it’s pretty new, so I don’t like to talk about it,” Donna said of meeting Swift. “It’s just one of those things where, you know, everyone saw me clearly…I was in the boxes with her. And yeah, it’s just something else that has boosted my life.”
“What was she like?” asked NBC’s Savannah Guthrie. “I mean, so you got to know her a little bit. I have to sit with her for a few games. How was it?’
But Donna was apparently in no mood to be pressured and simply joked, “It was okay.”
Travis Kelce, on the other hand, seems absolutely thrilled to spend time with Swift, and says the new romance has made him happier than when he won the Super Bowl earlier this year.
The Chiefs star spoke to the media on Friday afternoon and was asked what his state of mind is like now that he is paying so much attention to his every move.
“When all the attention comes, it feels like, you know, after the Super Bowl, I was on top of the world and now I’m even more on top of the world,” he said.
“There are a lot of people who care about Taylor for good reason. I have to keep living and learning and enjoying the moments.
“We’re learning while the paparazzi are taking pictures everywhere, but that’s part of it.”
Kelce also emphasized that the renewed attention will not distract him from football.
“I’ve always been pretty good in this building at compartmentalizing and staying focused,” he said. ‘I’ll just continue with that man.

“Everyone’s having fun, whether I think they’re overdoing it or not. I know I did this to myself and I’m lucky that I can have fun with it. All that really matters is that no one gets harassed here, at least here.”
Kelce seemed reluctant to go into too much detail about things between him and the pop star earlier this week.
In the latest episode of his New Heights podcast – which he co-hosts with his brother Jason, who plays for the Philadelphia Eagles – he criticized the NFL for the amount of attention Swift received when she attended his games.
NBC switched to Swift seventeen times during Sunday’s game, prompting Kelce to say, “Damn, that’s crazy.” That’s like driving once. Mom told me everyone had a good time.”
