Chiefs superstar Travis Kelce has revealed the app he couldn’t survive without after TikTok’s temporary ban sent America crazy last week.
The Chinese-owned social media platform went offline about 12 hours before Donald Trump’s inauguration, leaving millions of American users unable to access its content.
While Jason admitted that he “didn’t even know it happened, not on TikTok,” Travis revealed that he “knew it happened” but “didn’t care.”
Continuing, he said, “Shoutout to everyone on TikTok who needs to make money and does a great job of promoting themselves and their business there, but that didn’t affect me at all.
“I’m an Instagram and Twitter guy, it is what it is. I left Facebook a long time ago and have never gone back since. They let all the old people get in.”
In the discussion, which aired this week on the New Heights podcast, Jason then asked his brother if there were any apps he couldn’t live without.

The success of New Heights is partly made possible by Travis’ high-profile romance with Taylor Swift

Travis (right, pictured with Caitlin Clark on the show) joked that he couldn’t live without YouTube
In response, Travis revealed: ‘I’m going to say it YouTube or Spotify. That would mean I no longer have a job!’
While this isn’t entirely true, given the mega-money NFL contract Travis still has with the Chiefs, the podcast’s popularity has provided a new major source of income for the Kelce brothers.
New Heights is regularly catapulted to the top of the podcast charts, partly due to Travis’ relationship with pop superstar Taylor Swift.
On the field, the Chiefs once again made it to the AFC Championship game and will face the Buffalo Bills this weekend for a spot in the Super Bowl.
