Travis Kelce has shocked fans with a surprise appearance at the Chiefs’ Christmas party – when many thought he would be out with birthday boy Taylor Swift.
On the night the pop superstar celebrated turning 35, fans were stunned to see a clip emerge of Kelce not with his partner but instead at work.
In a video posted to Instagram by owner Clark Hunt’s daughter Gracie, the tight end is seen on stage wearing a Santa hat as he is celebrated for his charity work off the NFL field.
Kelce was nominated for the Walter Payton Man of the Year award last week, and Friday night he once again showcased his work in the local Kansas City community with his performance at the holiday party.
Dressed all in black, but with a festive red hat to complete his look, Kelce walks onto the stage and takes the crowd’s applause as team owner Hunt sings his praises.
“He consistently uses his platform for good, so it is my great honor to recognize Travis Kelce,” said Hunt.

“Since Travis came to Kansas City 12 years ago, he has established himself as one of the best to ever wear the Chiefs jersey, and one of the best tight ends to ever play the game.”
“But Travis was just as impressive off the field,” the owner added, noting his work at 87 & Running and Operation Breakthrough.
Kelce’s appearance at the Chiefs party sparked a lot of discussion about the location of his girlfriend Swift, who was in town in recent days doing her own charity work.
Many speculated whether she might have also attended the Christmas party, after spending time visiting sick children at the local hospital earlier this week.
That’s privacy at the Chiefs’ event. It’s unclear if she was present, or how long Kelce stayed after his appearance on stage.
There have been several reports of the tight end going “all out” for Swift’s 35th birthday, after the singer joined him in KC following the end of her Eras Tour.

According to a report in the American sun this week, Kelce spent a whopping $175,000 on his girlfriend for her big day.
The report details exactly what he has in store for her and claims $155,000 of it has been incorporated into lavish jewelry.
The gifts included a rose gold 36mm Day-Date Rolex worth $60,350, a gold split cuff from Tiffany & Co worth $22,000, and an Elsa Peretti open-heart bracelet that set him back $25,000.
No birthday would be complete without flowers, and Kelce is said to have spent a whopping $19,325 on a huge range, including 35 bouquets of roses to celebrate each of her years on planet Earth.
