A lovestruck Travis Kelce admits he’s proud to call Taylor Swift his ‘lady’ as the Kansas City Chiefs star lifts the lid on their whirlwind romance.
Kelce and Swift have been dating for the better part of a year, and the pop sensation’s first appearance in Arrowhead for one of his NFL games last September publicly confirmed the relationship.
Since then, the world’s most prominent celebrity couple has gone from strength to strength; enjoying a lot of traveling and nights out together, meeting families and supporting each other in their respective fields.
Last weekend, Kelce was in London for Swift’s sold-out Eras Tour concert at Wembley Stadium, and even joined his girlfriend on stage at Sunday’s show.

Kelce revealed what it’s like to be dating the world’s most famous pop star this week
“You want to keep things private, but at the same time, I’m not here to hide anything.” That’s my girl, you know what I mean? She that’s my lady, so she’s like…I’m proud of that,” Kelce said.
‘I’m not sitting here trying to juggle like, “How can I keep this a secret?” You just don’t want to let everyone into your personal life and comment on it, knowing that everything she does makes the headlines.’
As both all-time greats in their own industries, Kelce and Swift have dominated headlines since romance first blossomed last year, with the loved-up couple attracting worldwide attention.
Even for Travis, widely considered the best tight end in NFL history, the increased attention dating Taylor has generated was a big surprise.
However, Kelce says his girlfriend’s ability to stand her ground despite her superstar status is what made him fall in love with her.
‘She’s very self-aware, but at the same time… she’s very self-aware. “She understands situations like that and I think that’s why I really started to fall in love with her, because of how genuine she is when she’s with friends and family,” she revealed.
The Chiefs star joined his girlfriend on stage at his Eras Tour in London on Sunday.
Kelce and Swift have gone from strength to strength as a couple over the past year.
“It can be crazy for someone with that much attention and she keeps it so calm and so cool that I can safely admire it.”
On the most surprising part of dating Swift, Kelce continued: ‘(The paparazzi) have been the craziest thing. Definitely getting home, just random, I don’t know…
“It’s a different demographic than the NFL, so it’s been cool to get into that and see their fans and everything. It’s been fun because there are a lot more kids interested in the game and Chiefs fans have become in a lot of their fans. And their fans have become Chiefs fans, so I’ve had fun with all aspects of it.
“But when you’re at home, you want privacy and you don’t always get it.”
